Rumour was floating around for weeks, everyone saying different dates but someone high profile has a wedding planned for there as lots of couples supposedly were given the option to change dates of their weddings.

I heard one couple booked the castle for the same date as Lampard wanted. Supposedly a serious fee was paid to the couple to change to a later date...serious money too, I know it's all here'say but this couple were given a fee to cover all the costs of their wedding at a later date, their mortgage was paid and they were given another payment for their inconvenience.

I wonder is there any truth in it? It sounds a bit 'makey uppy' to me...but you'd never know what with the wealth of these high profile footballers.

The exact same thing that I was told. I found it hard to believe also. Then again his weekly wage would have covered most of that.

Well it's not this weekend as his partner is the co-presenter of Dancing on Ice which is on every Sunday and he'll be playing for Chelsea this weekend. It'll be a summer wedding if he does not get picked by England for Euro 2012.

Man, this rumor is getting better by the minute! When I first heard it 4 weeks ago, it was my wife's uncles's wife's daughter's friend's friend cousin that was alleged to be the lucky bride in question . According to the story, she was getting the wedding, honeymoon and so much cash for it. Now it's a gay couple, and on top of the wedding expenses, they're getting the house paid off in full!

Hopefully in the end it'll be Enda Kenny marrying Angela Merkel, and Lampard is paying off the 25 billion euro budget deficit.

Its rumored he's getting married in Lough Rynn castle Co. Leitrim in the summer. People living in houses on the grounds of the estate have been offered free holidays.

Well whatever is on, there's a big wedding taking place this weekend, the hall in Newmarket was storing flowers there today in preparation of a big wedding up in the castle...that's the only thing I saw with my own eyes. Mentioned it to someone and they gave me the spiel about Frank Lampard.

Chelsea are playing Bolton today and Lampard is in the squad. I have also heard the Dromoland story as above though.

I met Franks better looking 1st cousin playing golf at Dromoland about 3/4 years ago, was in group a hole ahead of me. Had a chat with him at one point too about Tottenham, so they are well familar with the place.

Ive heard that aswell but then again someone told me a Liverpool player got married there around 3 weeks ago which seems bull**** as there's no mention in any newspaper so its probably just idle rumours

If lampard had his reception in Dromoland whats the big deal?? A lad who kicks a football attends his own wedding reception in Co. Clare. Big deal.Meanwhile, the world still revolves. This celebrity crap makes me wonder about people sometimes.

I just found out that it's Ashford castle. A friends friend refused to change her date. After a lot of over and back the 'client' agreed to pay for her wedding, honeymoon anywhere in the world AND her mortgage.

Why would you turn down someone paying for your mortgage, wedding and honeymoon?

Short term happiness or long term security?

And if money isn't an issue get them to donate the cost to charity instead!

I said the friend refused. THEN the client agreed to pay out. Obviously she took the deal!

Ashford! There's a rumour that they did the same for Dromoland because they weren't sure which location they preferred but that could be that someone got their wires crossed. I only know Ashford is right because I heard it from the horses mouth.

Christine Bleakley has denied rumours that she and fiancee Frank Lampard tried to bribe people out of their wedding slots to make way for their own nuptials.

The Northern Ireland TV presenter was angered by rumours that she and footballer partner Lampard offered fortunes to two brides and grooms to bump their wedding dates for them.

Reports suggested the Chelsea ace gave a couple £100,000 to switch their day at Ballymena’s Galgorm Manor, which is near 33-year-old Christine’s parents house.

“I’d never in a million years ask someone to move their wedding. Stuff like that makes you out to be a horrible person,” Christine told the Sun, adding she still had no “concrete plans” for her wedding with Frank.

OR a celebrity couple are denying a rumour that they used their money/influence to get what they want! Hmmm but that never happens surely?:P To be fair celebs twist the truth all the time. I'm sure she didn't ask them personally.

I heard it straight from the horses mouths friend on the Ashford one. She even told me they weren't asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement which is surprising.

I really don't see why Bleakley would be so upset. What's money and fame for if you can't spend it?

Probably not surprising as it obviously wasn't true
