sillyMango...... It looks like your experiencing the start of lucid dreaming! Look it up, there's a method called WILD (wake induced lucid dreaming) and what you are going through sounds like the normal steps before you lucid dream, im trying to get to that stage! Your lucky it comes naturally!

It happened to me again tonight.

I was on my back looking up at the ceiling and I was glued to the spot, couldn't move no matter how hard I tried, couldn't call for help either. It was scary.

I get this on a regular basis so I no what to expect but **** me I can never get used to it fully, also on the ceiling I could see a shadow that was shaped like a spider or something, like a patch of black on the ceiling with legs that was crawling closer and closer to me, I just closed me eyes and focused on trying to move and I eventually came out of it.

I normally try to sleep with the covers over my head so I don't see anything but I just didn't think this time:p This happens a lot to me, at least once or twice a fortnight that varies in intensity and on top of that I have incredibly vivid dreams most nights, some of which can be disturbing. I wish there was some way to limit or stop this.

Jesus the very night I made that post two up, I got sleep paralysis. It wasn't as bad usual, I was trying to scream at the top of my voice but couldn't move a muscle and there was no hallucinations this time

I had a heavy enough session on the weekend so that is probably responsible for it but fecking hell, it was a bit of a coincidence that I posted about it and then actualy got it that night, nearly like Id planted the thought in my brain

Man I get the EXACT same ****, usually its after a festival or stag, lately when I get them I seem to have more control over the screaming part though, like instead of screaming I'll just go with the flow and ride it out. The paralysis comes but for some reason I can still shout and make weird horror movie noises, while at the same time having my eyes wide open! Still not sure if they ARE actually open or whether its my memory pretending they are!... I also get dreams where I'm floating, there so realistic it cant be explained.... Been half a year since any of that stuff, think I'm due a few :-)
