    Flash Gordon for me.
Over acting, silly dialogue and camp humour makes it extremely good fun.

I'm not going to get a lot of thanks for this but I genuinely think that Alien Nation is a way better film than District Nine!

A gem I only saw recently is Showdown in Little Tokyo, starring Dolph Lundgren and directed by the guy that did Commando its any early 90's 'evil Japanese trying to take over America' and 'mismatched buddy cop' film with the added bonus of gratuitous nudity (made even better even better by real obvious body double used by the lead actress)

I'm dragging up this thread purely because I just remembered:

    Maximum Overdrive

Thanks for reminding me about that its far far superior to Trucks which I accidentally got on VHS thinking it was the same film (it is really, both based on the same Steven King story, though he was more involved in Maximum Overdrive I think)

    Solo (1996)

    Best quote: "Like. Mike."

F**k yeah! It's so deliciously bad.

My favourite crap film is Passenger 57.

    Liz Hurley!
    Crazy hillbilly Cops.
    Seriously dodgy bad guy.
    Nerdy bad guy with glasses.
    Bad jeans on Snipes.

    "Always bet on black!"

You can tell Snipes is half cringing saying this line :pac: And the posh British super villain is, I would guess, RSC classically trained and all that crap and wondering how the hell he has ended up in a film of this intellect :P

Con Air is right up there but The Long Kiss Goodnight gets my main vote: daft story, crap acting, cheesy but very quotable script, lots of explosions, and all directed by the Master himself, Renny Harlin.

    What more could you want?

Simon West directed Con Air, not Renny Harlin

Ahhh.....Long Kiss Goodnight may be a bit daft, but it's hardly CRAP I would have thought?! It's a completely formulaic Hollywood action film, but a good one!

City Slickers 2: The legend of Curly's gold. A classic!

Tremors, Footloose basically anything with Kevin Bacon in it.

This thread is really turning to sh#t. Half the films being mentioned are loved by most people who know a good film when the see one. There is a difference between a crap film and a fun film. Commando is fun, Eraser is crap. Rocky IV is fun, Rocky V is crap. Most of Seagal's early films are fun apart from Out For Justice which is fcuking brilliant, but because he makes crap films now he is seen as a joke. Same goes for Van Damme. I would rather watch Kickboxer which is a cheesy fun movie than Transformers 2 which is truly a crap movie.

Barbarella, with our own Milo O'Shea.
The ultimate "so bad it's good" film.

One of the best really crap movies ever made is undeniably "Plan Nine from Outer Space". A big spliff, a glass of red wine and watching this is as close to heaven as any of us is ever likely to come: :):)

Some people think FGF is a crap film and some people think it's a dada masterpiece. It's definitely a film with a legacy and the cult of the film is only growing I think.

"You can put the cheeeese in your bum."

Hmph. I suppose I'll have to go with

Definitely Empire Records - can quote it line-for-line!

Pretentious, silly and over-the-top but great fun, and excellent soundtrack to boot!
