I'm not speaking about the year 5000. I'm simply saying that a move into the future, say 100 years..would open up so much more in design, creativity, character etc.

We've already seen the waunderwaffle and ray gun, baby gun and that big wind cannon thingymajig from the zombie modes. Something along the lines of Crysis's invisible cloak system is on a timer. Obviously, it would only run 10 seconds or so, not the entire game. As well as that super boost and super mario jump jet pack thingy.

You cannot compare the OTT fiction of nazi zombies, time travel, teleportation and crazy setting to recent or modern combat. It does not just break the level of immersion that most people have of standard competitive multiplayer, but it is poor gameplay.

There were modded servers on the PC where people could play WaW with Rayguns. Have you played them? I think I have seen videos with it in Blacks Ops too. I will save you buying the game and trying it out... it sucks. Its fun, in the way a wii is fun - its nice to do it, but you wouldn't sit in front of it for more than an hour a year because you should have better things to do.

It's your opinion, and opinions cannot be wrong. People have enough problems with ghost and assassin without making the tools invisible.
Churning out the same old copy/paste is a sure fire way to bargain bin.
So how much does a copy of Modern Warfare fetch second hand in Gamestop these days? Compare to Cyrsis 2 (invisibility) and Duke Nukem (wacky weapons).

    Your opinion is wrong.

I'd love to see some completely different game modes brought in, real tactical stuff. Like imagine the Highrise map, but an office block with multiple floors. one team spawns on the first floor, the other in the basement, and its basically a breach and clear mission, s&d style. if the breaching team kills all of the defending team or makes it to the stairwell and breaches the door then thats one round, respawn one level up, repeat for best of 3 for both sides, changing roles for halftime. and your perk/equipment loadout is set depending on which side you're on. breaching team gets tac masks, 9 bangs, smoke grenades and smgs, defending gets assault rifles, claymores etc, no changeable perks/killstreaks, play with what you have.

Get Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 on the xbox360 and we can have a few games.

Give the game more dev time.At the moment IW and Treyarc have a 2 yr cycle..they need longer to make sure they develop how the game works, and make it work better.

as it is the perks/streaks and guns can be seriously unbalanced.

Dont want to see any of the above removed.I think it brings a nice custombility(sp??) to the game.but give it a proper test.It doesnt take long to find out whats over powered.

considering the amount of twats playing CoD,the playtesting should be set up to play like them.Find the camping spots and get rid of them.Find the OP'd guns and nerf them.Find the headglithchs and elevators and code them out of the game.

    more time is whats needed:pac:

    EDIT:and dinosaurs..forgot about them ;)

IMO cod is rooted to its curent formula tactical game play isint cod, bar search and demo with friends, after that its balls out shooting, if you want a tactical shooter go battlefield.
Im stumped tryna think of a way to make it tactical??

Five Flags. You spawn on one side on the map and you have to capture the middle flag (dom style). When you capture it, the target flag moves closer to the enemy spawn. When they capture it, it moves closer to your spawn. Team that captures the end flag wins.

For the campaign I think going too far advanced would be a bad idea. There has to be mp5s and ak74s. I do think there is far more potential in the likes of spec ops/zombies for trying new ideas and guns. Reign of Fire style battles with dragons in spec ops would be cool things to do or having to do a heat style battle with cops on LA streets or assaulting a building like you're Neo trying to rescue Morpheus.

They really should do something more with the co-op side of the game, so much potiental to be had. The whole survival thing is a bit boring after a while since its essentially teh same thing over and over. Theres defo more freedom with treyarch's zombies i think, they should split it into 2 gametypes.

Standard zombie survival and then a more RPG raiding system, kinda like dungeon defenders on steam.

They could really go to town with it... have a whole upgrade weapon system.
maps are basically raids that last say 30 level's.
After every 10 levels have a big ass UNIQUE boss that actually requires some tactics and teamwork.
Bosses drop weapons and rare items which you can equip from the get go, as well as cash that you can spend upgrading weapons and items.
Each map has 3 or 4 difficulty settings, with the hardest being REALLY hard. The higher the difficulty the better the items that drop etc

These are the sort of game mechanics that really hook people into games. I doubt we'll see something like that this generation and most definately not from CoD ! But its something i think would work really well in the FPS zombie/co-op genre.
