I knew I should have checked my manly book of bike top speeds, but I left it at home!

It's not my video. Just some random one found on youtube.
But yes - it looks like 160km/h so I'm guessing the overtaking car must have had way above 300km/h on his clock.

PS - no I can't imagine it on M4. First people in Ireland would have to learn to use mirrors.

    ;)

As well the biker from your video was just doing higher speed on a straight road.
Comparing to the one below, he is not even half that mad.

Probably not the right video but in answer to the previous one... this is madder I believe. The guy actually died doing one of these videos

I was doing 100 km/h, or about 60 in old money. Think I will turn off the mic actually. Reviewing a few other vids, and to be frank, my taste in music is questionable. Might be difficult to explain if I needed to used the video. :)

Camera about 60 euro ind ship to Ireland from UK.

This is one of the best budget camera I've seen.
The 720p one is very clear at night.

I assume 'SXGA' (1280 x 1024) is an error/typo in the VGA model menu, and it should be 'SVGA' (800 x 600)?

More idiots on the M4. 1.20ish onwards. On a side note, the rigid lorry overtaking me at the start was easily doing more then 100km/h. Thought these were limited to 90km/h?

What would make these people think that towing at that speed in the driving lane is an intelligent idea:mad:......the mind boggles sometimes.

I think, if I was a garda, I'd get myself in trouble as I'd find it too hard to resist insulting these people for the morons they are!

For whats its worth when I exited the motorway at the next exit, the Gardai in Maynooth said they had already got calls about it and had a car on the way. Fair play to them for being quick on the ball.

I thought busses were limited to 80kph yet an aircoach sailed passed me a few days back when I had 81kph on my speedometer

Tecnically on a dual carrigeway there limited to 100km/h and 80km/h on single lane carrigeways. However most of the time there pushing 100km/h.

    I also received mine today.
Unpacked it and already had a small test video. I'll take more videos tommorow and show some here.
First impression is rather very positive. It looks really solid for a cheap chinese product.

Buses are supposed to have speed limiters of 100km/h.
They are allowed to do 100km/h on motorways and dual carriage ways, and 80km/h anywhere else provided normal speed limit is not lower.

Lol - I forgot to say it was in an 80kph zone hence me doing 81 in the first place

So according to Irish law and penalising system, you were both at fault of an offence (speeding), no matter that you were doing 81 and bus was doing 100.
    80 euros and 2 penalty points ;)

Towing with a rope is illegal, with a towing bar it's fine though.
