    Just after seeing on Autosport that Greg Murphy has set up his own team for the 2013 ELMS and Le Mand 24 Hours. They did very well last year so hopefully the can keep progressing. They'll be based out of Brackley

    Saw that on Facebook there also.

    Would being based out of Brackley have anything to do with being near Merc AMG F1 team as Brendon Hartley is their test driver.

    EDIT: They are literally three football pitches in length away from each other. Google Maps link.

    While looking into the garages last year at Le mans I had the opportunity to met Greg and the drivers, a nicer man you couldn't meet, couldn't do enough for me and my brother and invited us into the garage to see the car bring stripped and prepped for the race, gave us several caps(signed)and pens and signed my Irish flag(as did the drivers)

    That, you may put down to making themselves look good( media were doing interviews at the time) but later that evening we were eating some food at a trackside eatery, Greg spotted us and came over and thanked us for showing our support!

    We were at the ford chicane when the car went off with what I believe was suspension failure........gutted.

    Desperate for them to succeed this year.

    Would also like to come across senna and kamui this year at Le mans:)

    Launched today, the new logo and name for the amalgamation of ALMS & Grand-Am.

    http://www.unitedsportscar.com/

    United-SportsCar-Racing-Logo.jpg

    The new competition class names for 2014 were announced:
    • The lead Prototype (P) class, combining GRAND-AM’s Daytona Prototypes plus the ALMS’ P2 and DeltaWing cars;
    Prototype Challenge (PC), retained from the current ALMS class structure;
    GT Le Mans (GTLM), consisting of the ALMS’ current GT class;
    GT Daytona (GTD), consisting of GRAND-AM’s current GT class and the ALMS’ current GTC class;
    GX, coming over from the current GRAND-AM structure.

    Also launched was a new IMSA logo.
    Personally I think they should have named the championship IMSA. Lots of history and heritage with that name.

    It's taken from the passenger seat of the pace car before the start of the 12 hours of Sebring

    I noticed when watching Sebring the rear view camera display in the Corvette, thought it was really cool the way it displayed graphics to show up the cars behind. Very video game style.

    I read he was due to race at Le Mans this year but his team had to back out due to losing a major sponsor, think I saw it on the ACO's Twitter feed.

    really wasn't expecting Audi to be this dominant, Toyota are still using 2012 car but i expected them to be much closer.

    Deadly buzz! Hit on Eurosport thinking that their hour long show would be highlights, didnt realise that the race wasnt over!

    What's happened so far, seems like it's a decent enough race

    Anybody have an update on the Porsche WEC P1 car?

    Is it going to be a factory effort only or will there be customer cars?

    I know it's impossible but I would love to see a Ferrari P1 :)

    Watching that makes me want to see an IndyCar in oval trim do the same.
