    I have a friend who, while being an intelligent person, is not very learned. He doesn't know what right and left wing mean and I have great difficulty explaining them to him in lay mans terms.
    How would one explain the concept of left and right wing? (He also doesn't know what liberal or conservative mean, so those words are no use)

    Just talk about football. It'd be a lot less hassle.

    If you're on the left you hate rich people and like to murder people. If you are on the right you hate poor people and minorities and you like to murder people.

    Hey, face1990 - it's your not so learned friend!

    616 is new to me.

    A new number eh? Big day for you then! How many is that you know now?

    Back on topic. I'm a professional, but if we didn't have any professionals who would sell me the many many chicken wings I need to get me through the day? Without them, society as we know it would crumble.

    Is that what you want OP?

    Can we all just agree that 666 and 616 are both lovely numbers?
    Although that might make the other numbers jealous.

    I think we've opened pandora's geebox. :eek:

    What's the pass rate for 3rd level education? The cost of it is shirley built in so that we don't have too many professionals.
    If we don't have Irish people working in McDonalds and cleaning offices then we'll have everyone complaining about foreigners durking our jobs

    I agree that they are both lovely numbers. The real question here is, what is the most lovely number? I'm going to vote for the number 8. Those curves just drive me crazy.

    I'd say 73 is the best.
    It's the 21st prime, and it's mirror (37) is the 12th.
    It's also a palindrome in binary (1001001).

    Only single digit favourite numbers can be taken seriously.

    Add together the numbers of any multiple of 9 (up to a point) and they equal 9

    9x1=9
    9x2=18 1+8=9
    9x3=27 2+7=9
    9x4=36 3+6=9
    9x5=45 4+5=9 etc.

    At this point it gets better, the numbers of the multiples are the same but in reverse

    09 90
    18 81
    27 72
    36 63
    45 54

    Plenty of other tricks like that.
    Oh how I love the number 9, so much fun to be had.

    I'd kill for some chicken wings, anyone got a number for somewhere that delivers??

    Why did you have to try and drag this thread off topic?
