    I have to work in my menial job monday at 8 to 5 five days a week for peanuts so thats me fkd. No way out. Can we all be professionals?

    If you were really left wing, you would want all workers - including professionals - to be paid the same wages as those in menial jobs, so if you were really left wing & became a professional, it would be of little or no financial benefit to you as you'd still be earning peanuts.

    What a conundrum your life has become, OP.

    I have a friend who, while being an intelligent person, is not very learned. He doesn't know what right and left wing mean and I have great difficulty explaining them to him in lay mans terms.
    How would one explain the concept of left and right wing? (He also doesn't know what liberal or conservative mean, so those words are no use)

    If you're on the left you hate rich people and like to murder people. If you are on the right you hate poor people and minorities and you like to murder people.
