Would you not prefer to stay on the legume salary and retain your amateur status?

You're just not very good at numbers are you, which is ironic considering your username. Retrace your steps....

    Satan!

If you were really left wing, you would want all workers - including professionals - to be paid the same wages as those in menial jobs, so if you were really left wing & became a professional, it would be of little or no financial benefit to you as you'd still be earning peanuts.

What a conundrum your life has become, OP.

If you turn professional you'll be ineligible for the Olympics.

I'm hazarding a guess that your post count was 666 when you first posted in this thread.
But obviously isn't anymore, making the whole thing utter pointless bollox.

    Did I get it right?:)

Ah, I see. He thought 666=evil
I guess he's not very good with numbers
Number of the beast is thought to be 616 anyway.

Now what's all this I'm hearing about chicken wings?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,466 ✭✭✭tim_holsters

    616 is new to me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,039 ✭✭✭face1990

I have a friend who, while being an intelligent person, is not very learned. He doesn't know what right and left wing mean and I have great difficulty explaining them to him in lay mans terms.
How would one explain the concept of left and right wing? (He also doesn't know what liberal or conservative mean, so those words are no use)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,583 ✭✭✭Suryavarman

I support the left though I'm leaning to the right.

If you're on the left you hate rich people and like to murder people. If you are on the right you hate poor people and minorities and you like to murder people.

Just talk about football. It'd be a lot less hassle.

    616 is new to me.

A new number eh? Big day for you then! How many is that you know now?

Back on topic. I'm a professional, but if we didn't have any professionals who would sell me the many many chicken wings I need to get me through the day? Without them, society as we know it would crumble.

Is that what you want OP?

Can we all just agree that 666 and 616 are both lovely numbers?
Although that might make the other numbers jealous.

    I think we've opened pandora's geebox.

I like 27 myself, but you're right. They're all grreat

What's the pass rate for 3rd level education? The cost of it is shirley built in so that we don't have too many professionals.
If we don't have Irish people working in McDonalds and cleaning offices then we'll have everyone complaining about foreigners durking our jobs

I agree that they are both lovely numbers. The real question here is, what is the most lovely number? I'm going to vote for the number 8. Those curves just drive me crazy.

I'd say 73 is the best.
    It's the 21st prime, and it's mirror (37) is the 12th.
    It's also a palindrome in binary (1001001).
