    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Think I'd be better off letting it go for €500. Have had it five years and very little trouble. Car owes me nothing.

I think you're making the right choice. Sell it on cheaply honestly describing what's wrong with it (and indeed the good points too)

Someone else might fancy making a few hundred on it...

You've a new car now, time to move on :)

I agree, think it's best to move on now and use the proceeds to tax my new car. :)

I'd always point out any problems with any car I'm selling. It makes life so much easier. And the good points (new tyres, battery).

Guy supposed to calling later today, so here's hoping. He's only 20 min drive away.

I love the brown tape over the rear number plate, it's still clear as day! :D That's worse than coving it then showing it on the NCT cert.

Nobody wants your scrap. This is bangeromics.
I've already deleted that once in this thread.

If you continue to post your own items for sale, you will be banned.

Haven't posted in here in a while, having owned one of these until over 200k mls they have a place in my heart...they are dull as dishwater but if you want hassle free motoring you wont get better...I sold mine for €150, it had been sat up for 2.5 years while I was in Australia, A charged battery was put in and she started first time and drove onto a trailer :)

Worth the gamble with the no NCT at this money.

Dublin - 1999 SRi Primera..70k mls: No NCT and very low almost dubious mileage?? but if clean would easily do 3 times whats on the clock

    €330

Cork - 1999 SRi Primera 96k mls - No NCT as well but again rock solid if looked after.

    €300

the models up to 1999 are the ones to go for alright :) timing chain as well so one less thing to worry about. ;)

My Dad has the P11 genre which has never missed a beat to be fair...the P12s (last genre) are soft enough and not as bomb proof

€1250 for 3 months tax and 6 months test, smart looking car with an 05 reg plate. "Trade sale" would have me wary, but i believe the facelifted rovers had the landrover steel head gasket factory fitted?

.... only freelanders had that factory fitted. I believe the widespread belief that facelifted cars had it was motor trade spoof personally. Or confusion with the improved inlet manifold gasket perhaps, more likely spoof though.

Infairness, that is a decent, respectable looking car.

NOt really, if there's no sign of HG failure I wouldn't be overly concerned, contrary to popular belief the HG didn't go on all K4s, I ran one to 130k miles without issue on the factory gasket.

Mine went 34K Miles to 80K Miles with 2 HGF's, Currently @ 97 K Miles, no white gunge yet, just have to keep an eye on the coolant levels, but I was assured by the 2nd mechanic that fixed it he used the up-rated HG :)

Forget colour, spec, year or mileage. I love nothing more than an honest looking car like this. It just looks so straight.

I hate the Meriva... Just a tin can for the OAP's who need a high driving position...

Edit: Wow I sound so ignorant sorry about that, I just dislike the car...:D

Meriva would be a great little bangernomics car and some of the later models with a decent colour/rear tint arent half bad.
