    I am surprised no-one has mentioned the most important piece of clothing kit for keeping warm. A thick, but comfortable woolly hat does wonders. You can even throw it on in mornings.

    Moaning decreases body temperature. Stopping that will help.

    Thermals ,hat ,scarf ,gloves ,fleece liner under jacket and 'Boots ' not shoes when out .

    I have something similar to these and my feet are warm all the time .

    As bad as the winter of 1944 at Bastogne with the Americans thousends of miles away from home ,fighting the Germans ...those poor G I's:(

    I dont think i can face another cold day.

    Im in bed and hugging a hot water bottle. I have to get up and do some shopping, but im too cold. I have tried wearing a jacket, a hat, pants, socks and shoes when going outside but its not helping.

    theres your problem, you need to wear some clothes which you can put your legs into when you go out during the winter
