Hiya! All

I wanted to give a day of Falconry to my husband as a birth day present.

Does anyone know a place, the near to Limerick the better, but will travel if necessary...

There are a few on the internet, but how to tell if they are real or fake..

Jellybaby21 is big into Falconry, and has a few threads on the subject here.

Perhaps contact him, and ask what is involved, and could he point you in the right direction.

But its just a walk, I was kinda hoping for those ones where they get to "handle" a bird, etc...there was one somewhere near Dublin where they spend 2 hours learning about the birds, feeding, etc, but can't get a reply of them, so I'm kinda weary with sending money over the internet...

I can certainly recommend Woodlands Falconry.
A bit further to travel but they have a fantastic setup and do halk walks etc.

There is a girl in kilmalock rose she has a lot of birds and i think she gives lessons i don't have her number ill pm you

Out of all that have been reccomended the above is your best bet, Dave gives a very good value for money outing and you will acheive the experience that you require.
