Those two maps are for elite premium members, normal members can't get them until a whole map pack is released in March - which will consist of maybe 6 maps??

I'd say 4 maps and 2 spec ops missions is more likely. That way they don't have to design too many maps, just take parts from them.

    PS3 DLC season begins 28th February -

Good news for PlayStation fans: the first two Modern Warfare 3 content drops are coming this month and a new Title Update is just around the corner.

Fourzerotwo has confirmed via his Twitter account that the Modern Warfare 3 downloadable content season for PS3 will begin on 28th February, over a month later than the Xbox 360 equivalent. The release date has been a confusing subject within the past few weeks. With Microsoft and Activision's timed exclusive contract still in progress since it first began with Modern Warfare 2, many users wondered when the DLC would drop for PlayStation Network players who are also Premium members on Call of Duty Elite.

Those questions have finally been answered, however. Based on today's news, it would appear that Xbox LIVE members who are Premium on Elite will get the content drops first each month until the DLC season's conclusion in September, while PSN Premium members will get it a month later up until around October. Non-premium members on Xbox LIVE will be able to download the first bundle pack in March which contains the content that has been released for Premium members so far. It's probably safe to expect this bundle to be available for PlayStation 3 and PC a month later in April.

It was announced today that PS3 Premium users will receive their first two content drops on Tuesday, 28th February, which they will be able to download for free in the game's "Store" menu. The DLC will feature the same maps as the Xbox 360 version; Piazza and Liberation.

Although the schedule is similar to previous titles, even though it is now split-up more to accommodate Premium and non-premium members, some users are still disappointed. PlayStation Network users who paid the same price for a Call of Duty Elite Premium subscription as Xbox LIVE members will feel letdown due to still having to wait an extra month, although this may even out once both sets of Premium members are still receiving new content to master each month. PC users on the other hand will be disappointed that their platform currently isn't supported by Elite, meaning they are unable to join in on the content season until the bundles are available for everyone.

In other news, a long-awaited Title Update for the PlayStation 3 version is set to deploy in the early hours of the morning at 2AM according to fourzerotwo. The update will include "improved voice chat quality, theater fixes, weapon rebalances.

EDIT: Source is Digital Warfare 24/7
