For me, It's the Coca Cola add and Ian Dempsey playing Fairytale of New York!

    Anyone got any obscure ones?

The reason i do not watch TV! But unfortunately I cannot avoid Xmas songs when I go shopping so when I shop and hear Xmas songs that says Xmas is here. Maybe i'm an outcast in society and this Xmas lark, ffs, its only a day in the year which is heavily commercialised!!

That feeling I get inside knowing that I'm going to struggle to buy half decent Christmas presents.

    Oh joy.

Whenever the thing is where you have to recognize that everyone is just going to be the way things should be.

Sometimes I just think to myself 'heck' that's how things are and I don't even try to worry about stuff.

So that's what I have to say about the whole thing.

Nothing says Christmas more to me than when Mother starts loading the rifle and Father mans the rooftops. Nothing is more festive than the preparation for Robot Santa's attack on Christmas Eve.

Used to be when everyone started panicking about getting everything ready for Christmas. Arguments about how the house has to be spotless or Christmas will be completely ruined. Luckily everyone has calmed down and relaxed a bit.

Walking down patrick street at 5pm freezing cold in the dark and its still buzzing with people, music blasting out of the speakers by gentlemans quarters and the (sh*tty) christmas lights glowing away.
Even though it's cold, dark, cheesy music and sh*tty lights theres no denying it's christmas time and you have to smile

    Guinness Christmas ad :D

When you're in town and you hear "So this is Christmas" by John Lennon over the speakers, and then you step outside and it's a bit cold :)

Christmas kicks in at a difference time of year eery year for me. This year is was yesterday, strolling around the shops (getting accosted by angry shopping grannies and women with buggies) with friends, going in to get a hot chocolate and headin to the cinema to see Arthur Claus.
last year was going to the xmas market at the docklands. I always put up my decoartions when im feeling Christmasy, so I guess I know what Ill be doing today :)

Soon as I finish work and head up for the boat to get home for Christmas.

Car loaded with pressies and singing along to 'driving home for christmas'.

    20 sleeps to go...

A small bit at the start of Advent (as in a bit more tolerance for people obsessed with Crimbo/Xmas and pressies, but still very little tolerance).
After Midnight Mass, you have the chat outside the church, then you know it really is Christmas:D, and you couldn't give a fiddlers about what the general populus (see above) are doing from then on, because IT'S CHRISTMASSSSSSS:pac:
