Sticking some of my profit on an Over 2.5 double

    Tigres v Monarcas Morelia @ 43/40
    Bolivar v Oriente Petrolero @ 4/7

    £16.35 returns £53.31

The 4/7 shot is a winner. Tigres game kicking off in 15 mins. Running good playing poker so gonna stay up another while ;)

And over 3.5 goals in that game @ 2.300

Coritiba won 1-0 so it was ok I suppose :)

    Treble of

1Slovan Liberec Slovan Liberec v Slovacko

2Vysocina Jihlava Vysocina Jihlava v Banik Most

    3Rosenborg Rosenborg v Stabaek

    Works out @ 1.25/1

The first two are Czech games, Rosenborg is Norway.

Be fairly surprised if this didn't come in. All at home, all should win comfortably. (If only it always worked out like that though!)

And also Rosenborg as a single -1.5, -2 @ 1.675, they really should be winning this by at least 2 or 3 goals, going to be having a large bet on that.

The aftertiming is just a joke at this stage

I gotta just ask you, have you reported said aftertiming posts? I've been dealing with it the last couple of weeks as has been evident. Need to help out the mods here at times. Hence the report button. Thankfully others are reporting other incidents.

Looking at Le Harve vs Amiens in some shape or form.

    http://www.soccerway.com/matches/2012/05/04/france/ligue-2/le-havre-athletic-club-football-associat/amiens-sporting-club-football/1115449/

Just a note on Le Harve. I'am tad cautious namely due to the fact it's a must win for the home side against bottom side Amiens to avoid following them out of Ligue 2. Le Harve's home form, while there are very few wins is quite impressive - lost just one home game in the Ligue 2 this season! As eluded to, problem is they keep only notching up draws and their lack of goals is what has killed them this season. 3 0-0's in their last 4 home games too has to be noted.

Amiens are capable of scoring the odd goal but unlike the hosts, defensively are garbage.

Feel it could be a Boca job on Le Harve for me. With a main and a covering bet of 0-0, 0-0 is @ 9/1. Whatever the case, it's a small stakes bet(s) unlike my ones on Boca that's for sure. Not much football around the world that catches the eye (don't say LOI :)) else wise except for Rosenberg to beat -1, maybe -2 and even -3.

I got something like 22/1 odds on Newscastle beating Man City . in both halves this weekend, with Paddy Power, put €20 down, I'm probably crazy.

Someone posting in this thread (usually after a match ends) solely to brag about a big win, without having informed the people of the forum about placing the bet beforehand.

Usually it sounds something like "Glad I put down that €20 just before kick-off at Evens, it turned out to be an easy win for me, lolz!!1"

There is nothing essentially wrong with doing this, it just does not have a place on this part of the forum.

It should be posted in here instead. People actually congratulate big wins there, but here is just causes unneeded hassle.

    Sorry TB I dont

I dont usually bet on the lower leagues but decided to go for the above (lower league teams)teams because they are at home and in good form

Too late now, I have em as part of a double, shiit or bust for them really, Izale McCleod was ruled out yesterday which worries me.

Some French Ligue 2 bets I like:

    Draw in Nantes v Arles-Avignon @ 2.95
    and correct score 0-0 @ 6.75
    > Arles-Avignon have drawn 6 of their last 7 games, 4 of which finished 0-0

    Draw in Istres v Angers @ 2.95
    > Istres have drawn 6 of their last 8 games, Angers are in good form, I doubt either team will lose tonight.

Le Mans (vs Bastia) @ 2.05
    > Bastia have won the Ligue 2, they have nothing to play for while Le Mans are fighting for survival, Bastia have lost their last 2 away games. 16,000 people are expected at Le Mans' stadium tonight, which would be their record attendance this season.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,185 ✭✭✭tinodz

    United - Swansea over 3

I'd personally wait until Newcastle and City play before betting on that. If Newcastle upset City, then United don't have to try and make up the huge goal difference, they just have to win. They might play much calmer depending on that earlier result

If City keep winning, then I would be happy to put bets on big handicaps for the next two Sundays. In the same vein, there could be some good money to be made on "next team to score" when betting in-running on those two matches.

Following my above comment with a couple of bets.

    Rosenberg -2 @ 8/5 and a smaller bet on -3 @ 7/2

    United - Swansea over 3

There was a sizable drop in that, werent they

Got an email of William Hill saying there was a free €10 bet waiting for me. Only catch is that it can only be used to bet on the FA cup final. Stuck it on Liverpool to win @21/10.

I did some research looking for potential HT draw games (which interests me at the moment) and Le Mans vs Bastia qualifies there. Out of 34 games (home for Le Mans and away for Bastia) I think 23 or 24 was a draw at HT.
