Ba is in back in town, but apparently he wont be playing tomorrow, shame Newcastle were a great price.
Here's a bit of non-transfer news which is likely to disappoint Newcastle fans furthermore following their FA Cup exit - Senegal duo Demba Ba and Papiss Demba Cisse will not be involved in the squad for Wednesday's Premier League trip to Blackburn.

Tottenham, Liverpool, United, City and Chelsea all to win 10/1.
Chelsea, United and City all to win 4/1.

I have never been comfortable with the phrasing 'to win to nil' - I've had a clerk misinterpret that (deliberately?) as ´to win 2 - 0'. You try explaining that to a clerk who has not finished secondary ))!
Is there a better, more airtight way of phrasing such a bet? thanks.

well there is this phrase clean sheet in football refers to a game in which one team prevents the opposing team from scoring.

so maybe try stoke to keep a ''clean sheet''

    singles on

    swansea and draw 10/11

    bilbao 4/5

    treble on
same two with spurs-1 (4/6) shocking price to be honest
i'd have done a single on that also if i'd got 10/11

I've gone for under 2.5 goals in the Man Utd v Stoke game @ 2.00

    Treble of:
    Swansea DNB
Under 2.5 in Utd v Stoke
Under 2.5 in Parma v Juventus
    @8.75

  • Registered Users Posts: 738 ✭✭✭MikeyGorse

    Man City 5/6
    Charlton 4/9

    €50 pays €132.41

Fairly confident with this double..........famous last words :pac:

Wolves and Swansea both over 4,5 corners @3.8

What happens to your treble if it's a draw in the Swansea match? Wouldn't have thought DNB's could be added to a multiple. Or does it then just become a double?

Yea if it's a draw that part of the bet is void and it becomes a double.

Tempted to have a punt on Stoke tonight. Have a funny feeling a shock could be on the cards. Gonna wait for the lineups

Liverpool backers beware. It's been well documented on this forum that LFC are prone to letting you down against lesser opposition.
    I'm going for a 4-fold of:
    Adebayor wincast
    Swansea + draw
    Man City
    Man U v Stoke - BTS
    €15 returns €80

Getting on the Swansea DNB bandwagon too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 53,853 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Bellamy starting for pool, good for my corners bet

  • Registered Users Posts: 53,853 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Be warned utd backers, Amos starts in goal for utd

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,237 ✭✭✭✭SteelyDanJalapeno

    Ben Amos starts!

  • Registered Users Posts: 53,853 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Amos, Smalling, Rio, Evans, Evra, Val, Carrick, Scholes, Park, Hernandez, Berbatov

Rio and Evans arent the type to put there heads on any ball that comes into the box unlike Vidic

Such tits at Bet365 live help.

Bradley Wright Phillips wasn't starting so I asked them could I change him for Leon Clarke who also plays for Charlton. They said no problem so after loads of waiting they finally get back to me and say they have to void the bet and I have to do it myself, only problem is the match had just kicked off and they didn't offer in play next goalscorer. Ughhhhh idiots.

    It was a L15 1st goalscorer bet.
