Half their first team are on the bench. Still, they won't want to lose, in order to top the group. Dodgy nil nil all the way

    Drifting like a motherf*cker

    out to 1.91

lol the stadium in the Sudan v Burkina Faso game is practically empty.

2 small bets for me today:

Angola win or draw @ 2.05

Ivory Coast are already through to the next round so they're likely to rotate their squad quite a bit, I think Angola will be more motivated for this game.

    Sudan @ 2.40

I'm simply betting against Burkina Faso, their manager Duarte is terrible, he was the manager of Le Mans in Ligue 1 a few years ago and was the first manager of the season to be sacked.

oh well at least I was right about Sudan.

btw how come the whole squad plays in the Sudanese league, are they not allowed to leave the country like in North Korea?

Swansea win or draw @ 1.87 has to be the bet of the day tomorrow.

Chelsea will be without Drogba, Ramires, Lampard and TERRY!! Plus AVB is still their coach. So we have a very strong home team who beat Arsenal and got a draw against Spurs vs this joke of a team that is AVB's Chelsea.

edit: also done a Ligue 1 treble of PSG / Lille and Ajaccio @ 5.23 - early I know but the odds are already starting to drop.

    Treble

    Wolves v Pool corners
    Over 12.0 @ 21/20
    Everton v Man city
No Goal (either team not to score) @ 5/6
    Hull v Doncaster
    Hull @ 4/7

    stake 18.76 to win 92.04

I do like the stoke only to score at 18/1

Utd are Missing Rooney and that is a huge miss. The back up strikers arent anywhere near his level

  • Registered Users Posts: 53,852 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

So gone for Both Teams @ 1/1 and stoke only to score at 18/1

    Man utd v stoke

  • Registered Users Posts: 952 ✭✭✭shangri la

I cant see utd failing to score at home with stokes recent defensive form and if bellamy doesn't start the odds on the corners is poor.

I'm weighing up betting spurs -1 provided bale starts.

Stoke to win to nil 20/1 with powers if your looking at stoke only to score

  • Registered Users Posts: 542 ✭✭✭clearodara

Have noticed that Bilbao are 5/6 away to Mirandes in the Copa Del Rey. Bilbao have only lost 1 game in their previous 10 and that was to Madrid, in Madrid. They face a side who are top of the 2nd division in Spain but I reckon they should have enough to win this one. This one is a bit of a derby as Mirandes is about 40 minutes from Bilbao so both teams should be up for it. But cant see past Bilbao's current form and at 5/6 looks tempting

I have never been comfortable with the phrasing 'to win to nil' - I've had a clerk misinterpret that (deliberately?) as ´to win 2 - 0'. You try explaining that to a clerk who has not finished secondary ))!
Is there a better, more airtight way of phrasing such a bet? thanks.

One that might be overlooked with all the other matches
In Holland, Cop 1/4 final tonight Vitesse - Heerenveen.

BTTS, **** odds more than likely.

Good odds on Heerenveen who have been on a good run since the start of the season. They like the cup.

Vitesse struggling for goals without Bony (ACN)
Bas Dost for Heerenveen is the current league top scorer.

No idea if there are goal markets for this one but if there is, back Dost.
Or not. Do what you like.

@RedIssue: No De Gea, Lindegaard, Rooney or Jones tonight. Keane, Rio and Pogba in squad

    Just got this off twitter

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,998 ✭✭✭grohlisagod

I fancy Van der Vaart tonight. 6/5 anytime with Ladbrokes, 2 or more 3/1 PP. Scored the only goal against Watford. Just got a feeling.
