You should have placed it then, shouldn't you?

Why would i? I place my own bets, not what people on here decide.
Im just congratulating the guy as he picked a good bet, nothing out of my pocket.

You should of placed it though as you were the one who got it wrong and look very silly right about now.

Iirc it was you who said ''they wont win'' :pac::pac:

Benzema @ 3/1 & Soldado @ 3/1 double for first goalscorer this evening. Only a small stake for interest as we say ;)

    Any thoughts on Madrid tonight?

Considering going big on them -1

The bet that stands out for me in the Ligue 1 tonight is Ajaccio (vs Auxerre) @ 2.60

Ajaccio are bottom of the table, but they're finally starting to win games, it seems like the game against Lille showed them that they could pose a threat to any team (Lille won 3-2 but Ajaccio were very good that day), they won their last 2 Ligue 1 games. Auxerre haven't won away from home this season.

just wait for the line ups, -1 seems a sound bet, home and games away are just the same for Madrid

Sure do feel silly, lol, fair play to the lad, had too much risk for me with how poor AFC have been this season but if he's onto a winner then sobeit, I'm happy when others win from the bookies.

Tip of the day - Liverpool Stoke 0-0 @10/1!

Stoke have a habit of frustrating Liverpool...

And i say that as a fan :(

    Well played.
    If you got on.

yep 5@ 10/1... Though Villa didn't come through for me which was my big bet so just about in the green overall...

Likewise, once some people on here are beating the bookies, thats a good thing.

Good luck to one and all

Just saw that Mourinho has a poor record against Mallorca, 0-0 away last season and only won 1-0 at home.

    Benzema first goalscorer @ 4.00

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,647 ✭✭✭elefant

Mallorca are tough to beat when they're playing at home on the island...

Madrid on a 6 game away winning streak and in each of these they've been winning at Half time too.

overs in 6/9 away this season but Mallorca have been under in 5 of 9 this season. Not much obvious results for this anyways. Probably overs but I won't be on it. Unders @ 2.40.

4/6 most goals have been in 2nd half for madrid, the last 6 wins.

Valencia have failed to score more than 2 goals in 7 of 9 this season at home.

    Valencia under 2.5 @1.44

    Any opinions on PSG/Bordeaux double?

Do not touch PSG imo, Ancelotti has once again fielded a very strange line up:

    PSG
    Sirigu
Bisevac (slow CB playing RB tonight...)
    Lugano (slow)
    M.Sakho (cap)
    Maxwell
    Jallet
    Bodmer
    Moh.Sissoko
    Pastore
    Nenê
    Ménez

don't like that midfield at all Jallet - Bodmer - Sissoko, it didn't work at all against a 5th division team in the cup, also there are NO strikers in this team, Pastore, Nene and Menez are all attacking midfielders...

A sincere thankyou to the posters who tipped AFC Wimbledon, wrexham and derby yesterday. Great posts with good reasoning and research, I had them with ulster to win at 4/6 last night returning me 214 euro with my last tenner.

    Treble of
    Montpellier to win
    PSG to win
    Porto game over 2,5

Took Montpellier because of their home form and Lyon's away form or better, lack of away form.

Would be very surprised if this come in because i cant seem to get anything right today.

    My selections for the day.

    1. Benfica HT/FT V Setubal (1.53). Benfica have won 7/7 at home this season and been in front at HT in all 7 of these also. Setubal have 2 draws and 5 losses on the road this season. WIN

    2. Porto HT/FT V Rio Ave (1.53). Porto have won 6/7 home games this season and have been leading at HT in 5/7. Rio Ave have 1 draw and 6 losses on the road this season. WINNING AT HT

    3. Real Madrid HT/FT V Mallorca (1.83). Madrid have won 7/9 away games this season and have been leading at HT in 7/9 also. Mallorca have only averaged 1 goal conceded per game at home all season and have only lost 3/9 so Im backing on the difference of class between the big two in Spain and the rest here. LOSE

4.PSG V Toulouse Under 2.5 (1.66). PSG home games have an average of 2.4 goals this season while Toulouse away record is 2.11. LOSE

    5. Man Utd V Bolton. Most goals 2nd half (1.90). In 8/10 Utd home games this season most goals have been scored in the second half along with 6/10 of Boltons away games. WIN

    6. West Brom V Norwich. Both teams to score (1.61). I know West Brom have struggled for home goals this season but Norwich average 1.3 goals scored per away game and concede 2 on average. WIN

    7. Aston Villa V Everton. Under 2.5 goals (1.61). Aston Villa games have an average of 2.4 goals while Everton away record is 2.2. WIN

    8. Chelsea V Sunderland. Sunderland +2 (1.61). I think the odds against Sunderland are way too high on this one. Chelsea average 2.6 goals scored and 1.6 conceded at home this year while Sunderlands record is 1.3 scored and 1.2 against. This to me (hopefully) points to a Chelsea 1 goal win. WIN

    9. Chelsea V Sunderland. Both teams to score (1.72). Basically for the goal scoring stats mentioned above. LOSE

    10. Treble of Spurs/Porto/Benfica(1.66). Saw no other value in the Spurs game so decided to put the win together with two other 'certs' I have for the day. Spurs have won 8/10 home games this season averaging 2 scored and .8 conceded while Wolves have lost only lost 6/10 away games this season they have only averaged .8 goals scored and 1.9 conceded. Points to at least a 1 goal win for Spurs. Porto and Benfica games were analysed above.LOSE

Not a bad day at the office as long as Porto end up winning the game which looks very likely (counting chickens). A few lessons learned.
I had very flawed logic with the PSG and Villa games, luckily Villa came through.
Followed my gut moreseo statistics with the Madrid game and how Sunderland didnt score I'll never know.
Spurs seemed a bit unlucky too but Rooney did miss a peno for me as well so I cant complain.
Very small profit for the day (providing Porto result comes in) so might chance a punt on the American Football later.

Well done to everyone that went with MK Dons, wasn't brave enough myself, and the 0:0 in the Liverpool game also. Great shouts!

Chievo v Palermo Kick off: 14.00
    Chievo's last 5 home: W D W L D
    Palermo's last 5 away: D L D L L
Chievo have only conceded once in last 5 matches, conceded four in eight at home this year.
Palermo have only scored 2 in the last 5, both of these came in their last match. They have only scored two away from home in the league all season.

Chievo to win to nil (5/2 PP), Chievo clean sheet (7/5 PP), Chievo straight win (6/5 Coral), Both teams to score NO (10/11 VC)

Don't know what I'm taking here but I'll probably be putting a biggish stake on the BTTS NO, that's a huge price considering it's come in 6/8 times in Chievo home games (last 5 in a row) and 7/8 times in Palermo away matches

Tienen v Standard Wetteren - Belgian 2nd Division Kick off: 13.30

The home side's started the season scoring freely at home however this has dried up now, scored 2 in last 4. They've been conceding a lot of goals but there's no need to worry about that as the away side don't score.

Away side while being dreadful don't conceede away from home, they don't score either though, they've never conceded more than 2 in an away match and they've only scored two away goals this year. Unders has come in 9/10 times in their away matches this season.

    Under 2.5 goals (Evens PP)

This is definately worth a small bet, the only reason the odds are so high is because of the home team conceding so many contributing to a lot of overs.

Leixoes v Belenenses - Portugal 2nd Division kick off: 15.00

    Leixoes last 5 home : W L W L W
    Belenenses : L L L L L

Leixoes seem to be a good outfit at home and are pushing for promotion while the away side are dire and look likely to be relegated.

Leixoes -0.5 Asian Handicap(13/12 188BET), this is same as straight up win.

Definately worth a medium stake for this, above evens is just too good for side's which there's a sizeable gulf in class.
