A WOMAN microwaved a 10-week-old kitten to death in revenge after its owner reported her abusive partner to the police, a court heard today.

Mother-of-two Gina Robins, 30, put the family pet in the oven after using it to warm food for her 18-month-old son Oliver while at the home of its owner, Sarah Knutton, days after her then friend had reported an incident involving Robins' partner outside the same house.

A Worthing man is alleged to have dragged a dog by its lead behind the back of his Porsche 911 Carrera.
Sightings took place at the Devil's Dyke beauty spot at 22:00 GMT on Sunday and again half an hour later.
The driver was seen dumping the body of the beagle-collie cross in a lay-by, before driving off.
A police spokeswoman confirmed: 'A 33-year-old Worthing man has been arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after a dog was discovered dead at the side of the A27 on Sunday.

The options were to let them die slowly of starvation or put them in a bag and drown them immediately after they were born. The latter option was chosen (by somebody who cared for them but was no longer able to) as the most humane one and I was asked to do it. It's not much of a choice, but in the real world where things aren't black and white somebody's got to do such things.

I couldn't follow the story tbh. It'd have been a lot easier if the DM had included a picture of the microwave oven in question, or one similar.

There was, but nobody came forward to take them and they were suffering. The person in question hadn't the money to pay a vet to "put them down" (i.e. kill them).

People are being tortured, starved, persecuted, abused, raped, enslaved, murdered etc. every second of every day but there is outrage over a cat.

I assume that everybody on here who is horrified about the cat is a commited vegetarian...?

Apparently cat is a lot like rabbit, during ww2 they were sold for meat as rabbits. To counteract this, proper rabbits were sold with their ears still on to show that they were legit.

I generally microwave dead food. It's a bit difficult trying to get a bullock into a microwave.

I don't abuse my wife. If the next door neighbour reported me for abusing her and she subsequently microwaved the neighbour's cat as an act of revenge I would be shocked but also happy.
You can't equate animal cruelty to that against humans?
