Since we're on the topic, what're a good headset to have? I have the X11s but by the sound of things, they're a bit on the old/out of date side of things.

Ah I haven't been in there in a couple of months, last time I was think it had a lot of tritton's and a few turtle beaches.

Same as the xp500s and have a blue tooth controller so they are completely wireless. No wire from controller to headset.

finally got sit rep pro, Ohhh how loud are footsteps with that thing, can hear people nearly half way down the map, can be very disorientatin

No it got patched, so done it all legit... Prob wouldn't have done the glitch anyways, I'd prefer earn somethin, even if it is a pain in the face..

pp90m1 range and silencer is disgustingly good, but thats nothing new!

Anyone any tips for specialist perk loadouts? Recently started giving it a go and seems like a good loadout could really help, particularly the 2nd and 3rd perk slot.

Alot of people seem to use hardline as a regular perk to get the 1st perk after a domination cap + 1 regular kill for example, then assassin as a 2nd perk to keep off the radar/air support and finally the 3rd perk as scavenger because by that time you'll be needing ammo.

Mine is usually either

Assassin first >>Scavenger>>>Sitrep or whatever you want.

First flag cap give's you Assassin which means you have 4 perks before you kill anyone.
Then you pick up two more kills for Scav,then another 1 for sitrep then you soundwhore the **** out of them.
Then you get specialist bonus so you get Dead Silence which means even better soundwhoring,THEN YOU GET THE MOABZ

yeah I normally use hardline to get assassin first, if playing dom I use scavenger as the second but search I use dead silence second, and then dead silence third, or recon third for search, recon pro is such a good perk,

I use hardline on my specialist class too but really shouldn't. I think assassin is probably better cos after 4 kills/points you have 5 perks with assassin but only 4 with hardline 'cos hardline is used up. The only advantage is you get all the perks one kill/point early..... if that makes sense.

Started using the type 95 in earnest this weekend. Oh wow!

I'm the same.. rarely use specalist but always have hardline to start and assassin as 1st perk.

Scavenger and quickdraw in there as next perks in what order i cant remember!

Took me a long time to realise that you didn't have to pick your additional 3 perks from different tiers! they can all be from one tier!! Well handy coz I think tier where the juicy stuff is at!!

I have the Earforce dealie but I never found it particularly good, maybe I just have it set up incorrectly? What kinda settings do you have on it?

Seriously though have you got the proccessor turned on? One of the buttons on the side is used to toggle between processed/unprocessed sound
