Played a game of Drop Zone this morning. Very impressed with it.

Sorta like a fast paced Domination except you get care packages for holding the point for x amount of time.

I like the idea of the point moving every minute and every scrambling to get to the point.
Match was over in about 4 minutes (7500 is the score limit fyi).

Great party game and I would love to play with friends. Be a bit of craic!

Never thought id use emp but its brilliant especially if youre playing alone, i was able to take out an enemy escort airdrop and whole strafe run last night with an emp, serious xp

if you have a stinger on and a strafe run is called in , shoot down the choppers, you can get the xp for all 5 of them with a well placed stinger or two, done it a few times. my go to support setup is advance uav, stealth bomber, emp, got a 6 kill stealth bomber last night, love those multikills its a pity it wasnt as fun to play at launch as it is now so many people wouldnt have abandoned it, compare how many boards nights were going on around mw2 and blops time, I 've barely played with any boardsies and see hardly anyone on MW3 at all, right now theres 4 on my psn list online and only one is playing it.

always hold on to your EMP for moments like this! Chopper/ care package in bound!! Boom!! thats the end of that!

yeah it drives me nuts when people just set it off when theres no support up, granted it prevents stuff from being called in but i prefer to let it be called then blow it all out of the sky

am loving drop zone, really fun mode, chaotic but taking out choppers before they drop packages is great craic

yea had a good proper go of it there tonight!! great fun! but sheer chaos!!

I just run like a headless chicken in it constantly and get dead quite often!

its hard to know what to do at first, and what exactly earns you care packages, there's never anything hugely overpowered in them anyway, highest streak I saw in one was an EMP, and it was way into the game. its kinda like HQ meets domination with no killstreaks. more please IW, stick some of the private modes in public lobbies.

am loving Drop Zone, most fun game mode in ages, its manic but brilliant, riot shields and trophy systems are your friend on this mode, and blast shield. get a trophy down straight away if you get on the capture point as the semtex and frags will come raining in once it lights up.

In drop zone i earned a hacked care package that got me 4 kills which got the enmy team off the drop zone

Got back to back MOABs in free for all today.

just went 42-8 in a normal tdm with the rest of my team going negative

Dropzone is so good. Theres barely any campers, and if there are they just get destroyed by care packages.

been playing it all afternoon, my go to class for it now is:

mp5 w/ red dot
stinger
trophy system
semtex
extreme conditioning (lot of sprinting in this)
blast shield
sitrep

doing me nicely so far, if you're going to be spending the match shooting down air support then blind eye instead of extreme conditioning is essential.

one thing I find is if I die and theres only 10-15 seconds left before the drop zone changes I just wait it out, means when everyone is clambering for the existing one you're free to leg it to the new one, gotten loads of packages that way, bomb to new site, thrown down trophy system, wait for shiny package.

Dropzone is good first play of it now and got the kill an enemy with a crate challenge lol epic

No-one I play with really likes Dom. Playing with randomers in Resistance. Trying to get 25 kills with a launcher for a weekly challenge, so I'm charging round like a pr!ck not really bothering with objectives and we're getting murdered. Score was 71-137 at one stage.

Near the end my team start getting it's act together. I went off to B kill a couple of defenders and cap it. Score's at 181-198 when we cap the third flag. I've now got sniper support behind me while camping B.

A lot of things can still happen but one thing's for sure we're not losing B again. Run out of ammo and pick up an enemy riot shield. Getting flashed, stunned, attacked by air support, my team are shouting nonsense at each other, it's absolute mayhem. Held on for a 200-198 win and epic comebnack.

I'd imagine the nonsense was along the lines of " what's that d**khead doin running around with a launcher the whole f-in game"

Wemt 30-7 last night. For me, that's an epic score. Also got a triple grenade kill from a speculative grenade throw on Mission.

Also, did a running jump off a building and landed on a car which proceeded to explode in a ball of flames lol. I survived and ran off. Good moment for the vault.

I have games where I think I'm awesome. Then it gets to the end and I see I'm 9-9 ..... wtf?
Gotta love those random grenades when you're not on the receiving end. Got a great fluke that ended up as the kill cam on kill confirmed. Two enemy running to get the game winning tag denied by my random semtex.
