Some people are asking about what time is the event on at.

The earliest I can do is 8pm Irish time (7am Australian time).

Hopefully Cherry will be able to import the relevant chunks before that and I can maybe I can meet the "actors" half an hour beforehand to talk them through their roles and help get them into character. :-p

Like I mentioned, there's going to be a limit on the number of members in the squad (6 or 7) so we'll probably just run it twice. Maybe 45 minutes later.
If you log on and the first event is underway, I'd recommend checking what time the second event starts and log off until then or you'll run the risk of spoilers/ruining the experience for the others in your squad.

Perhaps if Cherry is around we could remove the current whitelist and add on squad by squad. In that case only the squad whose turn it is can log on to the map.

I'll import the chunks at circa 7pm tomorrow evening so. Server will be down for 30-40 minutes during that time, and I'll PM Teg on the co-ords of the chunks when I'm done. I'll be on from 8pm.

Regarding the whitelist I'm not sure if the right way to go about it is to block people who don't want to play the event access to the server.

You're playing the bodyguard, Xenon.

I was thinking that your old MiB skin was perfect for the part but feel free to improvise!

I'll try to log on at 7:30pm tonight and talk the actors through their roles. It's fairly straightforward and there aren't many lines (if any at all) that you need to learn so it should be hard to mess up!

Okay, just some quick rules and tips:

Standard Minecraft Adventure rules apply. That basically means you can't place or destroy any blocks. The only exceptions to this rule is redstone circuitry, any equipment blocks that you're given and mob spawners if you come across them. Obviously, Creative Mode is forbidden!

Read the signs around the place. Most of them are important.

The team needs to be off the island by sunset.

If I think of any more, I'll let ye know during the mission!

Also, Cherry. I sent you the schematic for the island. Check your PM.

Server's down at the moment. Hopefully we should be back up and ready to go by 8 anyway.

Just one thing that popped into my head and has me a bit worried:

The island was designed and tested in Peaceful mode. Of course, on the server, there will be mobs. If you see a creeper, try your best to ensure he doesn't blow any of the structures up! If one does, let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it. Bloody creepers.

If you ignore chat while the squad is on the island and you're off adventuring (maybe hit F1 to remove the dialogue box), you should be able to be part of the squad in the second playthrough relatively spoiler-free, if you want.
