^ seriously, you should try the singleplayer if only for the Vorkuta level which is fairly early on. I've enjoyed all the COD SPs since COD4 except WAW on Veteran (grenade hell) :(

Vorkuta deserves all the praise in the world. One of COD's greatest campaign missions imho.

LOL Burnsie! hahahahaha! Anyway! I've had this argument with yimrag and personally I thought that blackops although I agree wasnt really anything new in terms of originality or innovation it was still the best MP experience I have had playing a cod game. I played MW2 recently and I was shocked at how slow it was. The engine was shockin slow I actually couldn't believe it.

BLOPS was more fluid than MW2 and what I mean by that is the physics engine and not **** like perks and all that crap cause with them its pointless arguing as Its simple a case of different strokes(perks) for different folks. Moving, aiming, switching weapons, pulling out equipment and guns just felt more sharp. A real FPS shouldn't feel slow and sluggish and thats what you get with MW2 when you go back playin after BLOPS.

The second better thing about black ops imo was the maps. People gave out about them. With the exception of one or two good ones in COD4 they were class. They just offered so much more than the ****ty MW2 maps. I can't exactly put my finger on everything that made them better but they just played better than previous maps for me and I've played every cod series.

PSS Nothing beats COD2. One of the best.

It's a fact that Black Ops' maps were better and it ran smoother? Eh no, that is an opinion :p

IMO and in most people's opinions, MW2 was a lot smoother, and the maps were superior due to the bright colours and textures, in comparison to Black Ops (excluding Nuketown and Firing Range). I didn't love MW2s maps, but they certainly were more fun.

And btw, I prefer Black Ops rather than MW2, especially while in a party.

Are you really judging how good a map is by how pretty it looks??

It is an opinion alright (in my head its a fact) but its based on years upon years of playing FPS, classics like quake,cs1.6, css, HL2, BF2, COD2 which I am sure you have played too but for all my experience its clear that black ops is closer to proper FPS than MW2 and that has a lot to do with the engine and how the game runs in general. Maybe I want different things in an FPS.

Do you think the engine in MW3 will be the same as MW2?
It will be sharper, faster more fluid even more so than blackops and will you then tell me I still think MW2 is better and smoother. At the end of the day maps, perks and unlocks whatever they may be they are all about personal opinion and preference but the engine decides how well the game plays. Of course the other things like maps, perks and all that other crap are important and comes into it but they are fcuk all use and don't matter a sh!t if the feel of the game is sh!te.

If ye stayed away from the noob modes then mw2 was a class game, barebones, snd and clan matches were all savage on mw2. I agree tdm was full of camping scrubs but I stayed away from all that..

Yeah tbh that my comment was stupid but still, I enjoyed the MW2 maps more, they felt more fun. For example, who actually liked playing Kowloon/Crisis on anything bar Ground War? Too big and drab. Not to say MW2 didn't have any boring/massive maps, eg Derail but I felt they were in the majority in Blops

Black Ops was ****ing terrible, with the exception of zombies. Treyarch are a joke of a developer.

I can only judge it on how much time I spent and enjoyed playing it. As a less than hardcore CoD player, I went prestige four times. The most I ever did before that was one. It's also the only CoD I bought all the DLC for (bar the final zombie release). It was a big improvement on the unbalanced MW2, zombies was great and killstreaks worked a million times better than in MW2.

    Kowloon was not that bad
    Hated Crisis with a passion

Never played MW2 online till the last month mostly MW1 and Blops but the maps in MW2 to me were better than blops though better k/d ratio certainly kept me playing MW2

Nuketown and Firing Range were two of the best maps on Call of Duty ever.

I really hope there are some small maps coming our way on MW3.
