No way McGuinness is 6'2. McGuinness is shorter than Adams who is approx the same height as Tony Blair (who's a confirmed 6ft). You'll see Adams quoted as 6'2 in places but I reckon that's b/s. Sure, I've even seen Paisley listed at 6'5 so it must be a Northern politician thing across the board to exaggerate height.

I'd say McGuinness is prob 6ft or less. Doherty however is a pretty tall fella regardless.

I stood close to Adams and McGuinness once, by accident, at a Shinners conference in my local hotel.Adams is about 6'3" and McGuinness is about 6'2". Doherty towers over McGuinness. He must be 6'6"

There seems to be a disproportionate amount of below average height male politicos in the Dail. Napoleon syndrome? Though contrary to popular old Napoleon was above average height for the time(5'7"), that was just the usual English propaganda. Nelson on the other hand could have been a stunt double for seven of the leads on a live action remake of Snow White.
