Can you register a overpowered airsoft device if you have a good reason?

When applying for a firearms licence you need to state a reason. Can you register a overpowered airsoft device if you have a good reason? I can actually think of a good reason. Secondly, if you can, would it have to be bolt action?(that would ruin my reason) Would a overpowered fully automatic airsoft device be considered…
