Class Rep training junket?

Anyone from the SU want to comment on the rumours that the SU are paying for class rep training to be held in a hotel this year as opposed to the normal procedure of having it locally? I'm just not exactly sure why anyone in their right mind could think in this current economic climate that it was ok to piss away students'…
