theres john conroy here in laois.hes got a 30'000 euro simulator thats fairly advanced.but i think its 80 euro an hour.not realy value for money but just said id throw the option there for you

Never had anytime for those simulators. Not realistic, no recoil to teach someone to stay on target after the first shot. Plus at that price. €80 would get you 50 - 80 birds on any clay range which is a nice bit of shooting.

Ya it's not the actual hunting that I've a prob with...I find sometimes I have a bird bang on and when I pull the trigger there isn't a feather ruffled!!! I think I'm prob doing one or two small things wrong and they're prob easy fixed! Iv never had somebody have a look at my shot or tell me if my gun fits exactly right so I'd love to get a experienced shot to tell me what they think! Thanks for all the help tho! Much appreciated!

alot of people have this problem.

set up a piece of cardboard with a 2-3" on it and go back a suitable distance and fire at the circle. if its an over and under fire the bottom barrel at another target and examine where the concentrate of pellets is hitting. you could be high/low or off left or right.

also you might not be giving enough of a lead on the bird. get a loan of a clay trap and practice that way too. clays are cheap enough and so are the clay shells.

That's a habit that I've managed to get gid of! Used to have a prob with it at the start! Tail belly beak is what I have in my head nowadays! And keep the gun moving in the path the bird would have been continuing

Have a nice side by side! I'll do that and I think one of my buddies has a clay trap as well so I'll try fire that up! Cheers
