    Five years on, I suspect he has discovered that. ;)

    The problem is that many aren't free standing boxes on the street any more but in the wall of shopping centres etc.

    That's the address of Nearest!, a company that offers location based web services. Click on the link and it'll take you to their website :)

    If you allow the site to get your location, it'll show what it thinks is the nearest one on the map. It's wrong though, as the info appears to come from OSM (Open Street Map), which is incomplete. My nearest post box is only 500m away whereas the site shows the nearest post office which is 750m away.
