With PyRo's big win today, I think it's the right time to close off this thread. Turned over a bit more than I aimed to, but very happy with how it went. My own picks generated a (small) profit, and with the help of PyRo's selections, I've finished up with a nice little profit.

Since my last update, PyRo is +20. So the new bank balance looks as follows:

    Points in Bank = 229.1 (+29.1)
    Points in Play = 0
    Points Turned Over = 217.72

Nice one mate, always good to see the + sign being used. :-)

If you're planning on continuing the betting (and have the time) then you should keep this thread going IMO - it's funny how it helps to have one.

Fair play for making a profit and you're only the 8th person ever to have a log with 100+ posts. :D

Cheers for the comments PyRo, and once again thanks for all the work that your putting into your own picks, they've been brilliant!

Agree with you 100%, I'm definitely going to keep a log going, it's a great way to keep your bets, and your staking, disciplined. Previously if I won a bet or two, I'd find myself lumping bigger stakes onto the next bet or two, till soon enough I was back to square one, or worse, below where I started. So that was the big lesson learned since I started this log. It's also stopped me making silly bets that I used to make, such as numerous accumulators at the weekends, betting on events I know nothing about (although I probably learned that before I started the log, it's made me stick to it), among others...! Also learned to go big on singles on bets I fancy, rather than have 3 or 4 singles in a day on bets I'm kind of keen on.

I'm gonna start a new log this time though. Achieved what I aimed to with this one, so I'll close it off, but next time I'm keen on a bet I'm gonna kick off a new thread, this time posting just my own selections. You can be sure I'll keep following yours too, but I'll leave them out of my running total on the next one! Anyway enough rambling...

    Cheers again,
    RD
