Good to hear the dog is found. Bit of a tip: if the dog is registered make sure your friend changes the papers into his own name ie from breeders name to his name. This insures that if the dog goes missing again and he gets scanned for his microchip, the pound/vet or whatever will contact him in future rather than the breeder.
This happened to us recently but we keep records of who we sell pups to, so we were able to ring the owner and let him know where the dog was

Good stuff, had a feeling he would be up there, they are good people up in ashtown pound , i always drop around any old blankets ,duvets or towels that are not being used and they are really grateful for them.
Didnt make it around to the park myself yesterday ,my cocker got knocked down outside the house yesterday running out to me when i got home from work, feared the worst when blood started to pour from her mouth, she was lucky ended up with just a bust gum and stitches in her back leg.
It is times like that and when like your friend you loose a dog that you feel so bad for the dog that it is so helpless.
