    +53 with ladbrokes now 1/1.

Im thinking of going up to ladbrokes and doing Russia.
Weather forcast has rain around as well.

For Ireland to cover lets say Russia score 6 points Ireland need to get 59

    Thats around 8 try's.

Off the top of my head did we get 3 try's in the 4 warm up games
And then 3 against USA and none against OZ.

So thats 6 try's in their last 6 games.

Another bet Im gona do is No Tryscorer in the Scotland v Argentina game.
There is rain forcast aswell and 2 negative teams.
14/1 isnt great odds for no tryscorer, but its the best out there the price is coming down.

I've a feeling that it will be a borefest, a few cents on that wouldn't go amiss.

We did'nt get muchof a run for our money in the Oz USA match Phatpiggins :(

Do u fancy Ireland to cover the big handicap?

Russia are abysmal. If we perform to 60/70% of our abilities we should beat the HC handily enough.

That being said, Ireland don't demolish teams often, we have this horrible propensity to play the game at a level befitting the opposition!

Just to point out for people thinking about Russia +52.

Might be an option to go for Total points 56 or less @ 2/1.

Cant see Russia scoring much so it will more than likely be because Ireland dont cover it.

Personally I think Ireland will cover it though.

Looking at the top Irish tryscorer market there could be a bit of value in it if Bowe does'nt start against Russia.
    O'Driscoll is 20/1
    O'Brien is 25/1
Trimble is also 20/1 and I'd say he will start.

They are the ones I was looking at
Bowe at 8/15 is awlful value considering he has only got 2.

    http://www.paddypower.com/bet/rugby-union/world-cup-2011?ev_oc_grp_ids=491615

    Anyone catch the eye ?

Edit I just backed Earls 9/1 and Trimble 20/1.
O'Driscoll prob wont be risked and hoping now Bowe is rested aswell.

Did anyone else do anything in this market ?.
I see PP have copped on and both Earls and Trimble are now 15/2.

Gone on McFadden 2 or more tries @6/4, Healy to get one or more @5/2 and McF to score and Ireland -49 @ 10/1.

McF to score and Ireland -49 was 10/1??

I got on Russia +52 at evens. Think I would have preferred if Sexton got that kick...

Nice one, time to lose some of the winnings on the Argie game now.

Think I'll leave it with Arg -3 @ evens.

Added... Dr Phil for anytime try @ 11/2 and Argies to score over 9.5 pts in the 1st half.

In fairness, Leamy should have put Cronin away, defence should have stopped the Russian tries, there's a few reasons your bet lost.

Ireland by -51 was always going to be a dicey bet in poor weather conditions and you can't blame Sexton for your over ambition.

Talking of over ambitious bets I have gone with more than -17.5 points in 1st half in Scotland vs Argentina game and I'm wondering should I throw good money after bad and go with more than -16.

Actually my bad.... It was McF for 1st try and us to win @ 10/1.

Small amount on no try at 12/1 (Argentina vs Scotland) to try and win back my losses.

Ah, was wondering - thought they were silly good odds. Nice bet.

Ya I've calmed down a bit and realised we shouldn't have let any of those tries in. Still a shocking kick to miss though :(
