    Well lads after all my calls into farms i finally got my first permission i went for a walk in it yesterday evening and saw twenty to thirty rabbits and even a fox. I have a few terms to stick to but other than them im good to shoot anytime i want

    +1 on offering up something for the pot. Bottle of wine at Xmas would do no harm either. Take this like the start of your rep & you need to look after it. Farmers talk like aul biddies so if 1 talks well of you you'd be surprised how the neighboring ones might soften a bit...

    Our gun club gives them a bottle of Brandy at Xmas... but they really love when we help out... minding and feeding cattle or helping at lambing time...
    I Have to say I actually enjoy given the farmers a hand and now I know most of them quite well! Ask if he needs a hand with anything... Even if he dosent..he'll remember that you were kind enough to ask

    I would love to have your club in my townland. I have spuds to dig trees to cut a few bulls to casterate the calf house needs a coat of whitewash and the the wall around the house while ye are at it not to mention the fencing below the rd,also a few good men are handy around the the of the testing:D next week.
