Back in my day we didn't do things for "thanks" or "post counts". We did it because the mods would whip us with belts otherwise. "You've shamed the whole family with that silly thanks-whoring jpeg, DB" or "Wouldya look at the hair on ya, kentonbomb would be ashamed of ya" they'd say.

Posters were better back in my day.

Whenever I go back and look at old threads I wonder why the mods didn't disable the thank button and replace it with a hate button. They were as miserable as the Limerick minor hurling set up.

wonder how many thanks this will get, just the meer mention of Kentonbomb got one from me :pac:

Back in my day there was no PW forum on boards.ie, you either had to talk about quake before you walked to school barefoot or find somewhere else online to moan about HHH & Hogan.

The above is actually true, I set up an account a little later but I remember when this was just a quake dedicated board later followed by a few others including After hours which iirc was more of an off topic board at the time

I remember hearing he was gay years ago as well so hearing that he only just came out is quite funny.

Was the 1966 Batman done as a comedy? Haven't seen it in years but am laughing a lot more than I think I should be.

Edit: Oh man, the rubber shark and the shark repellent bat spray :pac:

Not sure if keen, decent director, and got the build for it, but Batman is a tortured soul and Affleck is to smug of an actor to pull it off I fear:(

When I first saw that, I wasn't sure, but I actually think it could work. I would believe him as a billionaire playboy than I would Bale. And he's done the masked acting before as Daredevil, which I actually liked.

Wasn't he up for Batman or another superhero role outside of Daredevil before.

Wonder if Matt Damon is too young to play Alfred. :)

Adam West is the best Batman, and anyone that disagrees can burn in hell.

Got a warning from the Board higher-ups about a joke I made about Newstalk's Tom Dunne and a potential show name. If that isn't backstage politics I dunno what is.

Re: Tom Dunne doing a sex education show
Was hoping for him to take over the "edgiest" slot on Irish radio and rename it "Tom, I've Dunne a cum".

So my little sis was on a leaving cert holiday in Edinburgh and she got tagged in some photo by the club. Nothing wrong with the photo but one random prick commented on it and made fun of her appearance. So angry, really want to get the prick back somehow

Reported the post, reported his account and messaged him simply with "Do you like bullying girls on the internet?"

I would have preferred to have said worse to him but unfortunately I can't risk losing my facebook account because I need it to run my company's facebook page

How do you reckon our U21`s will do tomorrow vs Clare?
Will we need to use the Hawkeye again?
