School was ok today!
I slept for 13 and a half hours last night, so that might have something to do with it!

Gonna relax for the next 2 and half hours, have my shows to catch up on! Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle and The Big Bang Theory!


Random question though, yano in an arts degree? I'll be using it possibly to go on and teach, so say for example I went on to do English, Geography and History, ok!
So if I dropped history after 1st year, and then eventually went on to do the HDip or whatever, can I teach History up to Junior Cert?

Pretty sure you can't, I've looked into stuff like that myself and as far as I know you have to have studied the subject for a certain number of years (I think it's 3), and you must study the subject in your final year if you want to teach it.

My career guidance teacher said that strictly, you can't. But if a school was badly stuck, they'd employ someone who had only one year done. But a school will never be stuck for English, History or Geo teachers (she's not a great CG teacher so that mightn't be true!)
