Dinner with a friend tonight then to the cinema with a big group. Girls night out tomorrow night :D

That will make it 4 times this week I have hung out with them, the group seems to finally be getting back together! Just hope we can all keep up this effort.

First weekend in months though I won't get to see my boyfriend. Miss him so much. :(

Had a great night out with my boyfriend last night, and felt like a teenager again, rather than a mommy. It was good - just for a couple hours.

Had a really lazy day as my dad had my daughter all day, so I just bombed around, in my jammies, with lots of cuddles.

My daughters christening is on Sunday, so am excited for that!! I got a fab dress to wear.

I'm so happy with my family, feel like the luckiest girl in the world

Pack, get a visa, insurance, student loan, sort out my scholarship, find a place to live.

Oh the stress! I feel a little sick.

Looked at the immigration site, takes about 6 weeks to get a study permit. Stupid slow application. Stuck here another few months so but at least I won't be rushing to get everything sorted.

More edits! Can start January 5th :D Actually cannot wait now!

In Newcastle for the weekend to hand up my thesis and party for the weekend :D

Sitting on a 1H so far too, so hopefully the thesis will maintain that standard.

Job hunting and real life begin next week :(

Based in South Dublin. Are there any pre-beginner spins? I've only just learned how to control the bike with one hand to indicate! :D

So tired, so fed up, could cry. My "week off" was studded with bouts of work that ruined it, said work is a mess and I'm miserable because of it, can't wait for X Factor and cuddles on couch tomorrow evening :(

I have to say that I'm somewhat enjoying having no internet connection whenever I'm not at my family home. I'm spending a lot more time chatting or out and about or reading, things I had stopped doing a while back.

Going to London next weekend, excited!

You don't necessarily have to say anything to her - the fact that you are simply there is probably more than enough.

You don't have to necessarily be physically present with her to be there for her - a phone call or a text to let her know you're thinking of her might be enough.

Check out ThinkBike in Rathmines. They run a beginners group from time to time. There have also been people posting from time to time to get beginners out together. Like this one from last year...

In such a ****ty mood, how do you walk away from a relationship you know is right now bad for you! I can't take the confusion and the constant wondering and being kept on edge and the non support but everytime i try to walk away i fold like a deck of cards. I really just can't stop myself from giving in. One thing doesn't make up for all the crappy behaviour.

@Rainshowers I hope your friend is better soon!

So yesterday I got to see the kids from my school who did a summer camp perform "the little mermaid" Korean kids are just so cute and so placid. They have english names for themselves which they can choose. I met a little boy named "Lion" as in Lion King, and I met Harry Potter too! :D

My dinner was really cool! We went to this little restraunt, and we got to sit on the floors like in the movies!! :D Loads of food was brought out. It was a pork dish that was cooked in front of you and loads of other dishes were brought out too! :) Lotus fruit, some sort of veg pancakes, noodles, rice wrapped in what seems like a cabbage leaf, Kimchi (fermented veg which tastes sweet sour and then tastes vinegary)

I had to have an initiation drink of soju (Korean vodka) mixed with some beer and a raw egg....I passed the test! :) We went to a bar and then we went to a noraebang (kareoke room) ate drank and made merry until we went home. I scored 100% for singing "I believe in a thing called love with another teacher! :) Brilliant night. All funded by my new school.

I tried to find the other teachers house today but I couldn't, the streets are pretty small and cramped in places here and I've stopped traffic and have been stared at by loads of people as my skin is so pale. I'm meeting the teacher for dinner now in a few minutes so I'll get to have a look around properly! I'm scared to go too far as I might not be able to find my way back! All the streets look the same! :)

    Are you on antibiotics?

I'm prone to ear infections too. The time my eardrum burst they gave me a painkiller called Aulin and was happy enducing.

I always found ibuprofen great for ear infections too.

Hope it clears up soon, any pain in or on the head area is bloody agony.

How can a person be mad and sad all at once? Because I feel that my humour is in such state today. And so it was yesterday.

My boy is in some way sad, but of course he won't tell me why. Was waiting for him to give me a text, ring, anything, till 1 am this morning. Some nice fight ahead of us that I am forecasting... :/

I've had to do a bit of catching up on the thread because I was gone all day yesterday. UVH conference was very interesting. Met one of the new vets from the hospital I used to work in and also met one of the girls from college. Learned a lot and chatted to some other vet nurses.

    What? Why?

My boyfriend would be proud, I'm sitting watching the Arsenal v Liverpool game. Admittedly it's because I picked 2 Arsenal players in my fantasy football team but still. I want to get more points than my brother again. :p

Really not happy with myself today. I weighed myself earlier and since I weighed myself last time I've put up 5lbs. I've undone most of my hard work. I knew I had a bad week but I didn't think it was that bad. I'll have to work really hard to get back to where I was, it's not going to be pleasant. I have to keep going though or I'll never get to where I want to be. I had intended on being at 11st for my birthday but it's impossible to lose 12lb in a week! I could probably lose 3lb if I put my mind to it. I'm fed up struggling with my weight.

I have to go back through the pages and search now, lol.

Edit: Can anyone tell me? I can't find why the thread is going to be deleted and re-started..

I just have to cut out all the junk I eat. No more going to the shop for crisps and Twister ice-creams. Last time I cut out bread it worked well so I'll do that too. More exercise and drink more water. I'm motivated now! :D
