Meh we're still covered under Irish consumer law. If it went bang because of a pre-existing fault it would be up to the seller ie Harvey Norman and the likes to deal with it. Which would probably just mean a refund....not that you'd really want one seeing what a deal it is! But still!

dabs have yet to confirm discount - obviously they will do it if they want to sell any, but there's no particular expected time to rush them

They seem to going under the radar, most will forget about them in the morning, so if they make a discount, it should give the people who are going to check the site time to get an order in.
