HP Touchpad Thread (NO Discussion Of Personal Buying/Selling)

Just a heads up to people.

I'm in NY for the summer and I've just ordered 2 of these for $220.
HP have discontinued the Touchpad this week and are now letting them go for $99 (16GB) and $149 (32GB).

I know most of you aren't in the USA but treat this as a heads up to get a very good tablet, with Flash Player, at a knock-down price.

Meh we're still covered under Irish consumer law. If it went bang because of a pre-existing fault it would be up to the seller ie Harvey Norman and the likes to deal with it. Which would probably just mean a refund....not that you'd really want one seeing what a deal it is! But still!

dabs have yet to confirm discount - obviously they will do it if they want to sell any, but there's no particular expected time to rush them

FNAC is a massive online and bricks and mortar electronics superstore which is all over europe. Ask anyone who has been to the continent, defo legit.

Appears to be sold out.. the 32gig was at full price from when I ordered the 16 at 8:20pm
