Mint condition Mk III Escort today. Amazing how fresh it looked when it came out and stood out today too. I would have loved a spin..

I remember when you could pick up a MK3 for £50. They were hateful things, and got worse with age.

BUT, I'd still absolutely love one now. Re-live my yoof :pac:

Bah, I've often been paid to take cars away!

My Dad once got a Humber Hawk for £10 at an abandoned vehicle auction...many moons ago

Why do the headlights on some of the fancy cars look weird like that? Is it some cleaner/polisher that hasn't dried or something?

It's a consequence of the camera lens filter used. A CPL filter shows up light spectrums in coated glass or Perspex.

Hmm. A Lexus IS "F-Sport". Not quite a Lexus IS-F!

Sorry if the colours are weird, my laptop's screen is bad.

    I'd want the Rolls tbh.

Looks like the Veyron is a windbreaker for the Rollers. Keeps the mpg up.

Veyron is for "the man" Rools is for his security. Saw the same Veyron last year but he was with Drophead.

It's nuts over there at the moment. Within 30 seconds of arriving in Knightsbridge I spotted a pearl white Carrera GT and a black Aventador roadster. F12s and Aventadors are common whilst an R8 won't get as much as a second look.

Never mind the cost of the eBay badges, he paid €300 for the reg number :p
Of course may its the other way. The car is a real AMG and he got the paperwork to register it as a cheap to tax Merc.

At this time of year the weather is absolutely scorching in most of the countries they are from so that's why you get so many in London and Paris etc. Pity a few more don't come to Dublin.

I saw Paddy's 3series in the short term carpark at the airport yesterday. No picture of it though. There was also a 2014 Aston on Irish plates a few spaces down but no pics of it either.

Then today I saw 4 citroen 2CVs!!! but you guessed it, no pictures. Really need to clear some memory on my phone

The Aston is a regular at the airport.

There was a Channel 4 documentary about this "crowd" and the local residents during summer 2013.

I think I might have seen it there before alright but didn't really register. There's often some nice cars in the short term.

Christ, the last few pages would really make you wonder who the owners of some of these cars are trying to impress..

    - Merc 1.8 with "CLK65" badges
    - BMW L40il with a Halfords "V12" badge
    - Ferrari Mondial "Competizione"
    - Audi "RS6" TDI

All of them very nice cars in their own right but tarnished by their insecure owners.
