I really am a horrible person, and I can't even talk to anyone about it or they'll know how horrible I really am. I know I don't even deserve sympathy, I brought everything on myself.

We had a hole blown in our front gutter by a firework earlier on this evening.....could have been worse though, we think it might have been aimed for the window but somebody obviously has a very bad throw and landed it in the gutter above the window instead.

It's a sad state of affairs when the house is full of chocolate and biscuits but all you want is some toast and there's no bread. It's like a metaphor for my life really...

If it's any consolation, you should be able to apply for DARE next year in college which will get you extra time during exams, free printing and more extras! We learned all about it during the HEAR orientation!

Pretty sure, ADHD can be rejected by DARE. Pretty sure, I heard that when I applied for DARE.

I had planned on going into the library for 9 this morning because it's the only time I can get directly there. I'm still in bed and it's now going to take me a combination of buses and trains and the best part of 2 hours to get in.

Ah, I wasn't sure but one of the girls who I lived with during it got in with ADHD so some places probably accept it!

I'm really not sure how you manage that time, as I live twice as far away from Dublin as you, and it only takes an hour and thirty for me on the worst days..

Edit: as if by some form of black magic, my bus was full, so we've had to wait for another, AND its now raining.

You brought that on yourself to be fair. :pac: Will it be another thirty minutes till the next bus? Spooky. :pac:

Ugh....why am I getting consistent head-aches. :( And no matter how early I go to bed, I'm still exhausted, went to bed at 10pm last night, and a combination of tiredness and this fooking headache mean I probably won't be going to college today. *sigh*

It normally takes less than an hour but the darts aren't running at the moment so unless I get the 84x which the latest one is 8, I have to get a bus to bray or a dart to dun laoghaire and then another one. I did it on Friday, got the dart at 12 off at dun laoghaire and a 46a and I didn't get into town until 2. The sooner they fix that damn bridge the better.

The sooner they fix that entire line, the better! I nearly shit my pants the last time I took the train, half the supporting cliff between Bray and Greystones had disappeared in the three months I hadn't taken the train.

This is very true, sure half the cliff walk is closed because it's too dangerous but it's perfectly safe to trains on it. They also need to fix the prices twice the price for one extra stop is completely ridiculous

Woke up feeling like ****e today, think it's the beginings of a cold. Now I have to drink the nasty Lemsip drink.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,590 ✭✭✭Pigwidgeon

So yeah, it turns out that really not much has changed like I thought it had. I just literally haven't had time to think at all the last while and the moment I have any free time I'm right back where I was, wallowing in self pity for no particular reason.

Also a lot of shít has happened this week that will change everything for a lot of pepole, but none of it directly affects me so I have to be the strong one as usual and not show that it's getting to me.

Please get me out of my head for a while. Now back to researching onions...

It's like every time I drop the cold, I wake up with a sore throat, headache, and cough. Contemplating not going to lab today...
