Apple phones aren't that bad, just criminally expensive and nothing on the Galaxy Nexus or anything.

Anyway, my argh is that one side of my family has a habit of throwing damn awful parties that I'm forced to go to. So damn boring. And then they start singing.

Um, are you sure they were on pills? Because pills give the opposite reaction, euphoria and a love buzz rather than violence. Alcohol would be more likely to cause violence, as would other drugs like cocaine. Not saying you're lying, just that that's not the reaction you generally get from ecstasy.
No two people will have the same reaction to a drug. You never really know what exactly you're taking anyway, this was especially true during the legal high buzz.

Jesus, someone I know just put up a FB status: "what do you tell someone who's suicidal? Like to stop them commiting suicide?"

That's why I said generally. I was talking about the reaction MDMA would give based on it's reactions in the brain with serotonin levels, I know other things can be mixed in. And from what I've heard head shop drugs messed people up way more than most other illegal drugs, people had absolutely no idea what they were taking!

I'm covered in hives :( ugh, I just feel disgusting, stupid stress.

My internet keeps randomly dying and I have to walk all the way upstairs to turn the wireless repeater off and then on again, every single time. The only ray of light is that my dad's internet has been dying occasionally too (he's connected to the main wireless, not the repeater wireless) so it looks like it's our provider's fault, not ours. But STILL.
Also, one of my friends backed out of a night we've been planning for aaaaages since her parents are refusing to let her go out anymore. :(

Nope, it's Vodafone Home. Maybe there's just some general internet issue - do you guys have Eircom wires etc? That could be it either.

Well 3 is generally sh1t, so I wouldn't take issues with a 3 connection as a sign of a larger scale problem. :P We have Eircom phone lines if that's what you mean, not internet. (3 are the only company that cover this area well enough to actually use internet without going insane.... they still be sh1t though. :pac: )

Sorry darlin wasn't ignoring you, you're not on my freak list, swears :P

So I got told at the end of work today not to come in tomorrow cause it's too quiet and that I've probably lost all of my weekend work. :( Insurance came out of the account and now I'm pretty sure I can't afford to eat now :pac: What a great fcuking day!

Just remembered a dream I had last night where my friend (a male) was in my (also a male) bed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,849 ✭✭✭bluejay14

The light bulb in my room blew like a week and a half ago. Every day for the past week and a half I've mentioned that I need a new light bulb. Every day for the past week and a half I've been ignored so for the past week and a half I've had to go into my room in complete darkness and scramble to the other side of the room to find the switch on the lamp. A very difficulat task even though it takes one step to get from the door to the bed which I have to lie across to get to the lamp.
Looks like we're going to have to go on a major lightbulb shop someday because the light in one end of the kitchen has gone along with one of the ones in the hall too....

Why don't you go along next time they're heading to the shop

We haven't been in any shops that sell light bulbs!

Edit: I've actually got the worst memory ever (for the following reasons #1 I forgot what shops I was even in earlier #2 While we were there a light bulb never crossed my mind.) We were in Harvey Norman's and Expert earlier on. 2 electrical shops of all things!!!

Light bulbs are like batteries. You always forget you need new ones until you go to use the thing that requires them.

We finished work early today because we ran out of food. Like actually ran out. That just shows how busy today was. Now I've to go in early tomorrow to help with the mountain load of prep we need to get done. Bah.

Ordinary supermarkets stock lightblubs as well!

That's probably one of the least funny frapes I've ever heard... that's just being a dickhead.

Argh, man flu definitely setting in now.... and still another day to go at home before heading back to Limerick... If I don't find work somewhere this summer I think I'll actually go insane... living here for any length of time has just become unbearable.
