My friend got this one this evening at about 100YDS with his .22 Magnum.

Was wandering around a hedgerow about 6pm this evening so we quickly made a move on it.

Its my mates rifle, he shot it. I'm using a Harris Bi-Pod on my CZ .22LR and find it great!

cheers folks, nearly had a big dog fox too. he was 40yds max from us but the excitement got to us and the fecker crawled into the hedge by the time we took a shot!

Why is there alot of hair missing on the foxes back, just before the tail.... does anyone know??

Looking forward to getting a few more now.

hi,just curious would foxes be considered vermin or do ya just kill them for the sport?

    .

Probably mange - nasty business that. Keep the carcass well away from your dogs. The mange mite is the last thing you want on your best M8.

They are vermin, and must be culled for protection of livestock among other reasons.

fun being one of those other reasons!

I get more excited over a fox than I do over a deer

would the bi-pod mounted straight to the barrel not change the direction of the shot if you were resting it on different surfaces? taught i read somewhere on here that it changes it.

    good shooting though :D

thats my rifle foot and the fox from earlier, no the bipods are grand, they can be set at different heights so can be used on any surface! its a lovely rifle, very accurate to about 150m, i mean on the button up to that.

thats my rifle there, its a bi-pod on my marlin .22magnum, gun and sights are quality, but the bi pod i got on the net for 20euro, it does the job and hasnt giving me any problems when i am target shooting on a range or hunting cant complain about it but they are not the best quality..
