Well one or two things in a movie might be debateable depending on the blatancy and symbol.
But if i saw a good few i would consider it more than coincedance.
Alot of kids anime ussually have strange unrelated references.
Or at least as many as movies i think.
But i kind of already reached a stage where there are just too many masonic references in movies, that its hard to tell now who is taking the piss for the sake of publicity.

Im more interested now in tv series.Stuff that people will be tuned into every week and has subliminals or stuff of a similar nature, used to control perceptions of the viewer.
Illuminatti and masonic symbols are so common now that they have become well known and used references.
Possibly that was the intention all along,to embed it in the global collective consciousness and bring the ideologies out to the public ina subtle way over a long period of time.
Like a mass conversion. But i only speculate mind.

Good points.

Well, 'the medium is the message' when it comes to TV

I do agree Obelisk, the "programming" itself reinforces our perceptions on reality over and over.

Hooradiation i also agree alot of it is either for publicity or guys doing it because they can and might be interested in that stuff or just for an inside joke between them.
But i also think there are more subtle references that coincide with movie story lines and audio subliminals or more like inuendo's which i believe the brain picks up on and filter some percieved meanings while the viewer might only aknowledge one meaning consciously.

An example of references but not inuedno, might be the movie with Russel Crowe, i cant remember the name exactly. It had the word "state" in it.
But anyway the producer or director or whoever, had a masonic monument at the start(the obelisk in dc),which could mean to represent the state and its foundations etc etc.
But also in the middle of that movie he is in his kitchen and on his worktop is flashed quite obviously a small thermal coffee cup/flask with the G and square and compass on it.
The movie is about american politics or government so i think these references sometimes are interesting depending on the movie theme.

Was just watching this episode of no reservations and noticed along with others in the comments a subliminal ad for cialis at 12:24

Is this not very illegal?

Also at 12:39, much faster though. I wonder how many more there are. And this comes from the same company that sponsors the USA's spelling bee - the humanity

Not that this is a definitive answer or anything but I work in an entertainment industry (minds out of the gutter) - we regularly 'hide' things in our products for shits and giggles.
So unless everyone here is a mason/member of the Illuminati there is a very strong probability that a lot of this is talented people being bored and finding an outlet in doing something minorly subversive.

I'm aware of that fact.

On the other hand you have works like Stanley Kubricks '2001- A space oddessy' to give an example.

I found the content of 'Despicable Me' a bit strange for children myself when watching it for the first time, i must admit I didn't spot the symbols mind.

Anyway sorry to hijack the thread topic, I'm a n00b :)

Nice link.
That guy pretty much sums it up for me.Everything he says is pretty much how i would think too.
He makes some good points about the face shots and the timing of them,i hadnt considered this really.
I guess i am very used to being programmed.
The god complex idea is interesting.

I do notice since peeling away from regular tv programming that i notice how blatant adverts are, even in films.
You know it sounds manic or crazy, but i sometimes laugh out loud now at some adverts on the rare occasions i experience them!

Just the realisation of what they are doing is hilarious when you look at the techniques used, like accessing emotion to anchor a product or point.
Showing provocative things or useless junk i would never buy.

All i see is"You can be like this!! You can have her/him if you... $$ buy me $$ buy me $$ buy me" lol
When looking back at my home life which only lasted till about 18, i realise just how much crap i used to watch compared to the last 3 years especially.
At home i would come home from school/work and vegitate with my dad in the sitting room in front of the tv,adverts, movies,tv series and news all going straight into my mind.
Such a waste, i could have been doing what i do now, if only i had been told how it effected me back then!

Its interesting also with series like True Blood.
I watch this when im a bit bored and need something to watch while i have some food.
I also laugh at this alot too.
While its attractive to watch because of all the lovely ladies i do aknowledge thatshow is literally just selling sex for ratings.
Everyone who watches this must aknowledge this right?
Its not just me and a small few?

If you watch it you will notice they have guys in as many scenes as possible be in a situation where their shirt is off(i find this funny as some situations really dont call for that shirt to come off) and the same with women and short skirts and boobs hanging out, although i think this should happen more often in real life :D
Its fun to watch cause i will be honest i love women! haha
But i do hope the people who watch this accept openly to themselves and others that they like it because its a skin flick.
Like pornography, just with more of a fantasy story added to give reasons to get nekkid lol
I do find the idea though of humans having sex with dead people to be a little over the top when made to look romantic.
Necrophelia shouldnt look this good! And so its another funny show that i watch.
Not great but i also sometimes smoke, so meh...
Better to watch and aknowledge the truth, than live in denial i say.

Ps. If anyone knows someone that watches this show by the way, please ask them why they like watching it and reply here if they can.
I would love to hear some of the answers.

pps just saw your second link obelisk, that is one of my favourite ones i have seen over the years on and off.
That guy knows his stuff.

Fair play, good observations. I cant believe the stuff that people watch nowaday's jersey shore etc but that's irrelevant it's the programming as you pointed out earlier, god knows who putting what into your mind while your in a trance. And this has been happening for a while now...

That box has been and continues to program u from when your a kid. ESPECIALLY when your a kid (fact)

It's the hypnotist in the corner...

He is good, that clip is from a decent (enough) flick. I cant think of the name of either right at this moment :pac:

Bonus points for a Bill Cooper quote @ the end

With regards to 'Despicable Me' the person behind that youtube video was just seeing what the wanted to see.

Ah yes 'alpha waves' - sounds very scientific. It must all be true so. No wait, it's a load of balls that a child could see through.

Not so subliminal stuff here, from hit kids movie 'Despicable me'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1emICv6A84

From 'Illumination entertainment'

A great example of how pareidolia sees patterns where none exist. Whoever made that video has got mental health problems or is quite the joker. Notice, incidentally, that the plane the child is holding is clearly wearing US markings, yet the video nutter/joker thinks it is Israeli for some reason, showing how their obsession is distorting what they see right in front of them.

Lol - also check out the 'chemtrails'!

And by way of a counterpoint to the "the media is brainwashing us" idea is The Influencing Machine by Brooke Gladstone, which posits the theory that we get the media we deserve.
The idea is raised that the media isn't this tool for creating and enforcing opinions but is, in fact, a mirror on ourselves. And if what we see is crass, exploitive and disgusting it's only because that's what we are and what we want.

Sadly, there is no overly dramatic youtube video to accompany it, but it may well worth a read if people are actually interested in this topic.

So it's not a bunch of easy answers packaged with ominous sounds and exciting pictures? I don't think anyone is going to waste time on that, especially if it involves some original thinking (more original than 'they are all out to get us' anyway).

• Registered Users Posts: 3,831 ✭✭✭Torakx

I would hold judgement until i saw the whole thing.I often spot things that arent on youtube videos and miss things that are lol

Obelisk is it any good to watch, like funny?
When i heard the name Russel Brand it turned me right off it.
He reminds me too much of an intelligent kid who wants too much attention and makes noise to gain it.Screeching and stuff. Gets on my nerves after a while lol

ps, guys stop firing tar all over this thread its makng it look sh1te! lol
We get it, cters are insane and gullible and anything they believe is obhorent to you higher intellects.
Now lets go back to discussing the fantasy of subliminals in tv series, thanks.
For those incapable of noticing, that was a sarcastic jokey comment to ask posters to stop making judgements and just discuss the material presented by each poster in a mature fashion.
If people are just boostng their post count and /or ego, i would appreciate they make their own thread.

Looks like an interesting read; although the author seems to have chosen quite a deceptive title if the conclusions of the book are what you and some of the reviewers say. Perhaps to sell more copies. Clever.
The idea is raised that the media isn't this tool for creating and enforcing opinions but is, in fact, a mirror on ourselves.

I wouldn't personally agree with this idea when it has clearly been shown that media has a massive role in doing these things.
The booming advertising industry is just one example and how it promotes consumerism.
Public attitudes and opinions to almost any issue you care to mention are heavily influenced by what they see, hear and read; not just in negative ways of course depending on the subject and media outlet.
Sadly, there is no overly dramatic youtube video to accompany it,

Yes, i'd imagine that if you could find a dramatic youtube video that promoted the idea that media does not create and shape opinions all that much, it would be quite an entertaining watch in itself.:)
Perhaps there is a self-produced one out there somewhere.

Might try to get hold of a copy of that one anyway.
Two books touching on the subject of media influence and perception i could recommend would be
Robert Fisk "The age of the warrior"
John Pilger "In the name of justice"

I have seen a lot of kids movies, and I would say it's ****.

I posted the plot in the thread, it's basically about 2 evil genius' in competition to own the moon & they both seek council at a bank.

Yes, I came here to stop others investigating. I work for the NWO, pointing out obvious flaws in CTs to people that don't think things through.

Why would I try that?

Beacause it's very real, and happening now. Debunk that?

Do you want to be part of the solution? Doubt it.

You just want to argue.

All you 'septics' never touch any real stuff, just continue to talk dung about lizards/chemtrails etc, I find it highly amusing

I wouldn't try to debunk real stuff because it's real. I will point out obvious problems with ridiculous conspiracies involving Despicable Me and anywhere else I see them. I take it you still haven't figured out why I referred to 'chemtrails'?

I posted that for a bit of craic. There were more interesting posts in the thread you may have commented on, but that's your choice of course.

Well the good news is, there are plenty 'real conpiracy's' out there to be discussed. Looking forward to you weighing in on those issues as they arise.

Fair enough, but you have to appreciate that it is no sillier than lots of the other stuff that gets raised here. Also, if you made it clear it was just a bit of fun, it probably wouldn't have drawn any serious comments.

I'm not saying that the sybols arent there, just that as I watch zero tv and am fussy with movies it doesnt really bother me one way or another.

There are plenty of topics out there though that would appreciate some serious comment from time to time...

Either way there still are numerous masonic references in that film!
(For what it's worth, not a lot really)
