Rate the Call Of Duty games from best to worst

WaW is by far the best. I have talked to a few MW heads and they give out about the weapons being Shíte. Takes a fair bit of skill to nail a moving target with a bolt action (no attachment), and they didnt go overboard (which they do in Black Ops) with the killstreaks either

Played most of the COD games (over the years) on PC and Xbox, have to say enjoyed the majority of them (excluding the Big Red One).

The original was a huge leap from all other FPS at the time as "large scale battles" were introduced - it also looked great and played well.

I was glad that the series moved into modern times as WW2 shooters were getting stale by then, and I have to say the campaign on MW1 was excellent (I played this on the PC when it came out).

Having never played WAW - much to my regret, I vote for COD4 as the best single player game.

Multiplayer is a different animal, my favourite COD online is Black Ops, MW2 is too frustrating to play these days. COD4 would be my second choice as its pure gun on gun gameplay.

Anyways this is my 2cents:

Its a damn shame you havent played it. I have been playing in constantly for a couple of years now. Go get yourself a cheap 2nd hand copy and enjoy it

it's all about multiplayer for me. only played world at war, blops, MW1&2.

prob goes like this:

1:MW
2:MW2
3:WAW
4:BOPS

MW2 got boring, BOPS the maps just dont do it for me and i never really played enough WAW multiplayer.

anyone else still playing MW regularly?

I can't find my copy of BOPS so the other evening i banged in an old copy of MW and am completely addicted. i can't believe i'd never multiplayed this (for shame, but i've some excuses). the maps are great!

but when i go back to mw2 these days i think its awfully crap and eveyrhting is overpowered, i just hope mw3 is more like mw1 than mw2
