    Everything makes me talk shite....

I agree with The Scientician on this one. It's the amount you're taking in.

But if something has a lot of sulphites in it I usually am dying the next day.

Vodka makes me insta puke from drinking too much of it as a young one.

It would seem to make no sense whatsoever that they would. The main active chemical in all of them is just ethanol, the exact same chemical in wine or in poitin. So they shouldn't.

But like many other people have said, yes with me it does appear certain drinks make me more prone to acting in different ways than others. Maybe it's an association thing. Like if you happen to have gotten into a fight, for instance, with someone 3 out of the first five times you drank cider then you subconsciously associate the taste of cider with angry emotions and so it becomes self fulfilling. I'm sure something has to be said for the speed at which you drink certain drinks as well.

Also while alcohol is obviously the main psychoactive maybe there are other psychoactives in different drinks that could effect mood enough (however slightly) to tilt you towards being more prone to act one way or another when drinking whiskey verses Guinness for example.

Another thing is that many people are more likely to drink certain drinks depending on the situation or environment they are in, so lots of people only drink Jagermeister if they are out clubbing and so would be more likely to act certain ways in that situation in anyway than, say, having a meal in a resturaunt which would often be accompanied by wine. It's a weird one though...

Tequila makes me vomit, otherwise I can drink anything and its all just alcohol with differing tastes and price.

If someone walked past me with a sambuca id have to dash to the toilets, or a dark corner to get sick!!

Whiskey makes me angry and also total memory blanks when mixed with vodka and red bull.

No, I really don't get when people say that. What I'm doing while I'm drinking or my state of mind at the time has a much greater effect on me than my drink of choice.

Whiskey = Best feeling of drunk, very relaxing for me.

Vodka = Lets talk absolute vodka rot and dance and laugh.

Beer = Hangover, ****ing effort of drinking the volume and the sleepiness.

Gin = Great to drink loads of energy until one night it left me with the heavy blues. Haven't touched it since.

White Wine = Leaves me with very relaxed grips on drinks after two glasses so don't usually drink it. Leaves terrible blanks the next day too.

Makes a massive difference for me. Spirits or white wine get me lively, beer or red wine are more likely to put me to sleep.

Alcopops & beer: Chilled out
Sambuka: Having a good time :D
Cider: Okay but could be better :o
Vodka: Complete psychopath, vomiting like the exorcist, passing out and very emotional :pac::(

I do think different drinks have different effects on people, you just have to learn what they are

    Cider is happy drunk
    Vodka is slowly, merrily drunk
Whiskey is absolutely nothing happening, drink more, nothing. Don't feel myself getting drunk at all then black out.

Red Bull + Vodka + Mean person = Me wanting to put their head through a wall :pac: followed by tears. Don't drink that no more  Plus messes with my nose and can't breathe right.

Whiskey = Silly, happy drunk with some slight breathing difficulties
    Jager = Silly, happy drunk
Rum = Silly, happy drunk with some memory loss :pac:

Wine - I've yet to drink a full glass....would take me all night, hate the stuff so I'd probably never get drunk at all! :D

Nah, I think a lot of it is in people's heads. A couple of people have told me they start crying when they drink vodka, don't really believe it though. The only thing I don't/can't drink is beer, and that's mainly because they taste makes me vomit.
