Deer Permission Letter

Im going toi see a few farmers tomoro to get permission letters signed and i dont no have to word them. Can any one help me out.

just be up front fella and tell te farmer your there to do them a favour i even said to one farmer when im out and around ill try my best to fix up a few fences as well cuase farmers like the hand here and there, for example im going shooting crows for one farmer tomorrow and then ill also get the land for deer shooting
old saying goes you scratch my back i scratch yours lol lol

I use a print out of a letter i done up years ago, and each year just change the season dates. So it would have printed on it;

1. My name & address.
2. Short note saying its for Deer season 2011/2012
3. Name and address of land owner

Then leave a spot for them and yourself to sign it and write in folio numbers/acreage.

Doesn't have to be a novel. They have to go through alot of applications so they really only want the "facts" i'd imagine.

Mightn't be any harm to have a photo copy of your insurance card attatched aswell.

Absolutely, but i'm just referencing the actual letter.

As you said though give a copy of insurance, firearms cert, and of course not forgetting the actual deer application from NPWS.

sample permission letter

I , John Smith of Ballywherever hereby give permission to Feidhlim Dignan of ..... to hunt deer on my lands in the townlands of Ballywherever and Killdeer , Co Donegal.

make sure landowner signs it (you can counter sign)

and have it dated
If you have a folio number include this on the app form
and make certain to include the acreage in your app ,
if more than 100a the better , if not get another (few) landowners
AND make sure there are deer on the land (the zealots are out there )
