No ones saying it's alright to grab peoples ass in clubs, gender doesn't actually matter because i've had my arse grabbed in clubs more times than i can remember, now it does become tedious but i don't get violent, it's been done by blokes a few times as well and you don't see me giving them a punch in the face.

The Guards are legally obliged to follow up and prosecute a criminal offense. There's no getting out of it for them if you officially report it and are willing to follow it through. If there is sufficient evidence and proof (e.g. eye witnesses) The decision to pursue it rests with the person that was assaulted not the Guards, or the offender.

If a drunk Guard does something illegal off duty, it doesn't make it legal, but he is taking a huge chance if he didn't know her, she could have his career on a plate. Try grabbing an on duty Ban Gardai's ass, and give her the coppers excuse, an let us know how you get on.

No it's not simple, i'm saying that the guards wouldn't do anything, they don't care about trivial matters and yes i do think that this would be a trivial matter.

I never said that it was ok to grab girls arses and i have never done it too a stranger out of the blue, i just said that the guards just wouldn't show up if you called them about it.

And honestly who cares if they're ''legally obliged'' use your head how many police forces in the world do everything they're ''legally obliged'' to do? And in all fairness they would ignore it for a perfectly good reason too: it would never go to court or lead to anything, only waste time.

You ring the cops and report a sexual assault in a bar, and they are obliged to show, I've seen it, not a pleasant experience for the groper, he was arrested and taken to the station, whining his ass off all the way. No idea how the case went after that.

I was surprised by how horrible I felt for quite a while after. The grabbing always bugged me, especially the violence of some of the pinches.
