I don't know about the handsome part, but a threesome was offered to me when I was about 20 (over a dozen years ago). The women were about the same age. Maybe the 55 year old guy thought "There is a 99% probability that I am being set up and will be beaten and robbed, but there is a 1% chance that if I say no I will have passed up my last ever opportunity to have sex with two young women at the same time." Maybe that 1% doubt would have niggled at him to the grave, and he thought it was worth getting robbed to avoid it.

They were most probably trying to take the píss out of you, hoping you'd fall for it! If these kind of events happen, (and I accept that they do!), I imagine it happens at the very edge of a circle of friends or something, where it happens at or after a party or some such event and then there's a big effort to hush it up and then someone starts bragging about it down the pub with drink some night and the rumours start...

I don't accept for a second that a guy thinks he is going to end up in a threesome on the basis of two completely random strangers coming up to him and asking for it, where this happens, it's very obviously someone who is highly immature trying to take the absolute píss out of you, or else there is some other angle to it, like a pair of girls who are using you to pay for the taxi home or like someone trying to rob you!!!

I've seen a similar type of situation happening recently in a nightclub, two girls start going off with each other, next thing everyone is looking at them, then they have a gang of guys around them buying them drinks all night, some guys just can't see the wood from the trees I think!

Seriously, any guy who falls for this is watching waaaaaay too much porn!

I was asked for a 3some before when I was working on doors by two women in their late 20's. It does happen. Didn't take them up on their offer cos I had a girl in bed waiting for me. Gutted I was.

Same logic applies to most men in that specific situation. Threesomes don't just happen that way and especially if you are a 55-year-old man being propositioned by young girls. Unless I'm mistaken and it is actually common for young girls to offer threesomes to 55-year-old men.

Whatever floats your boat, but definitely wouldn't be my gig! My mates don't get this at all, saying I'm mad. I just go for a certain type of girl in terms of attitude and class, and the kind of girl who would be up for a threesome just wouldn't interest me in the slightest.

While I would not be up for a threesome myself it is for entirely different reasons as I do not think threesomes has anything to do with "class" at all and would never judge someone negatively for it.

It could come about in any number of ways, but in the vast majority of these situations the man propositioned is either going to be very good looking or very wealthy (as money vastly improves men's looks of course ). So if the man in question is an average looking 55-year-old, then yeah, I'd think he might have been more skeptical.

To be honest, i would take from the fact that you keep making mention of "class" that you are making some kind of judgement.

I am unsure how someones sexual orientation has anything to do with "class".
