You're not getting away that easily, I've a few more questions before you're off the hook:

Any sub-genre within metal that you just cannot stand?
What was your favourite gig this year?
Any upcoming gigs you're looking forward to?
Do you keep up to date with the Irish rock/metal scene and, if so, any bands we should watch out for?
Could you name your all-time favourite band?
What is your favourite aspect of the rock/metal scene and, conversely, what is your least favourite?
Is there a rock/metal band out there with loads of fans that you just don't get?

    Haha, c*nt!

It'd have to be screamo, completely awful stuff altogether! Ever see a mosh pit of bands within this genre? People doing spinning kicks, swinging their arms around almost punching people, It's not a f*cking martial arts expo! Idiots.

Favorite gig if we were to include bands at festivals was by far Bolt Thrower at Hellfest.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Morbid Angel again at Wacken and of course, Rammstein in Feb! :)

I've never had an interest in the Irish Metal scene, any band I've heard never did it for me at all so I rarely go to any local gigs unless I'm asked by a friend.

My all time favorite band.. Ouch. That's a hard one. It's a toss up between Bolt Thrower, Morbid Angel or Death.. I'd have to go with Death but only barely!

The controlled aggression is something I enjoy about the Metal scene, obviously when it comes to gigs and pits. It can be tense, scary, exhilarating and downright amazing all at the same time. It may look and feel aggressive but the majority of the guys and gals are looking out for each other, someone falls, they get picked up, you get a busted nose? They make room and take you away and if you refuse and drive back in, they love it!

What I hate about the Metal scene is this air of elitism that can be prevalent when it comes to bands and music tastes, even people refusing to act in any other way bar being "metal". I've no time for people like this and avoid them like the plague.

Rush. I could never just get what people enjoy about Rush. I've listened to some tracks and I just couldn't feel it. I may have heard the wrong tracks but from what I did hear, I've no real interest in trying them out again!
