The wheels that are on it are not that popular, they are the standard wheels on the E90 320d M Sport as far as I know, most people opted for the MV3 style though. Selling them to my cousin for 150 as winter wheels for his E90 330D

Being as brutally honest as i normally am i was just about to post and say how the car looks much nicer with those as opposed to MV2's.

Mv2's are a nice wheel, don't get me wrong, but imo they were only nice on the cars they came on. if you can get a genuine set fair enough, but the reps don't sit nice.

Still a nice wheel though.

They came on E46s didn't they? I think they even started on the E46.

Yup, only on the E46.

By cars them came on i meant Genuine M sport E46's.

That said, MV4's are nearly nicer on an E46 than an E90.

I dont think I would be changing the alloys for a while if they weren't rubbing but they are unusable on my car. On the way to dublin the other day with a full car there was 2mm of clearence between the arch and the wheels every little bump made the car scrape the tyres.

I always liked the look of the MV2s long before I even considered buying a 325 so hopefully they will look well on the car.

What the instructions don't tell you, is you may need to manufacture a 16 and 1/4 spanner for a very odd shaped nut.

Problems found:

1) Some gobshíte changed one shock by itself and now the other one has failed, result: I need to buy two new shocks.
2) I'm nearly certain that my front driver side caliper is sticking...

Now I am certain my caliper is sticking like a mofo. I've come to a funny little question, fix it, or do a 330 brake upgrade on the front. I know this will skew the brake bias a little more, so I'll either tackle it with more aggressive pads on the rear or if that fails, fit a brake bias switch.

I'll be sorting german style pressed plates at some stage in the near future, I'm worrying more about the slight mechanical issues (ie. the sticking caliper and broken shock) first There's always time to beautify the car!

Himself picked up the E46 this even from Nissan Doctor. Took it for a joyride tiz driving grand happy out now its fixed. PROPERLY this time! So ya may open up a tab for me now Nissan

Looks like good stuff, dunno if I have the patience though! I can get the shadowline trim for 70 but I'm spending like mad recently so I might leave it for a while.

My own 7k km rule was reached since the last one so i Changed the oil and oil filter today with fully synthetic 5w30 again. This is definitely the easiest car ive done this on, its literally a 10minute job. Also bought angel eye headlights from germany, they have a lever to switch from lhd to rhd which is obviously necessary.
Ordered corsa opc indicator bezels too.

Dont know if ill end up using the angel eyes or not but i bought them mostly for the projector headlight as i want to put xenons on this car

In the last week ive
Fitted lowering springs
Changed the coil (temporary job)
Changed spark plugs
Oil and oil filter
Bought new headlights, xenons and vxr surrounds

I still have my first car after 12 years and was just going through the service history and see I've done 22 oil changes in that time and did 82,500 miles. Thats averaging every 3,750 miles!

i also had some horrible looking bobbling on the bolster of the driver seat. thanks to EPMs tip at the meet last sunday i used a razor to try and fix it

some of the seat before. it was like this on about a 6inch square patch





the bolster afterwards with the fluff accumulated

ive done almost 8k kms since i got it last May and its the second oil and oil filter change that said it was long overdue one when i got it, the previous owner was a bit negligent of it id say after the warranty ran out

I put one of these on my sump. I know they are not suitable for every car but it makes it quicker and cleaner to drain the oil.
