a bit work need to do on those wheels, as they are rusty ... couldnt expect better quality for full set for 30 quid delivered from Limerick though.

put up adverts for 100 quid, id say will go fast, there is a lot of people lookin for replacement wheels for winter tires. even my , very unpopular size went.

I wouldn't be too into them either tbh, they came with the car though so picking one up cheap to complete the set would be handy.
Haha, a bit cheeky with the price but it is Adverts after all, if I ask €20 someone will offer me €5. :p

These ones? They'll look nice on the barge alright.
Decent wheels are rare enough in Ireland. :(

If I could get the money I'd go and take a look at this tomorrow, the wheels alone are worth ~€1500!

If only I could find buyers like that! A whole load of wheels I had here got the bin, including 7 Avensis wheels, 5 Vectra wheels, 5 Fiesta wheels, 2 Civic wheels, 2 Accord wheels, various Passat/Audi 5x112 wheels and a whole load of 14 inch 4x100 wheels from various Opels, Toyotas and other cars. Even Toyota alloys, Skoda alloys and a set of 100+ wheels

No one wants to buy, I need the space. When gone, everyone looks for the stuff. Sigh :(

You've seen the place, space is a premium up here!

They were on donedeal and adverts. I must dig out the pic of all the wheels.... Still have some, the pile is very small though :(

The only 16's I have are on the Alfa, Landy wheels and Mercedes E class wheels!

Today I replaced a dipped headlight bulb which blew yesterday.

Now can the other bazillion drivers with a blown bulb please do the same?

    Thank you.

I tried last weekend to replace a blown side light bulb and failed. Couldn't get in at the bulb despite trying multiple ways suggested. I'll have to admit defeat and bring it to a garage. :(

I did manage to fix the drivers seat height adjustment lever today though, old one was popped off and in the boot when I got it.

Lowered the front to its final setting after allowing everything to settle. Went to lower the rear but the adjuster keeps turning with the perch, so need to go at it again come the weekend with the spring compressors. Needed to check clearance reversing into the driveway ...

... it's pretty close :D Still an inch of thread left too.

Dangerously low, I don't give you a month before you break it. Sad but true, I have been there

Spent the last 3 days trying to get at my 00 Feshty clutch, then only 10 minutes actually replacing it. I now fully appreciate the garage price for the job.

Not today, but in the last week. New alarm (Clifford) with proximity sensors, new alpine double din head unit fitted, and electrical rewire on the interior all done.

Delighted with it all, have to do timing belt and water pump now.

    LDA pin ground down :)

    I have a spare :p

    Old one, marked up

    Rotating the starwheel

Smokier and the max fuel screw is turned down. I think it's meant to work better with a bigger turbo and the 11mm plunger head :)

Edit: Instead of another post, a vid of it in action. Yes, revving the balls off the D-Turbo :pac:

Got around to installing my door warning lights today. Its a horrible noise and feeling to be ripping the inside of the car door off. Followed this guide but some of the bolts are in different places, cost me a good hour trying to find the last one hidden in the door arm.

LEDs for all is on the wishlist. Perhaps after the holidays.

Just did a fresh oil change on my VRS, Castrol Edge FS 5w30, with a genuine VAG oil filter and a new sump plug & washer :)

And only last weekend had a G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch kit fitted, so all good :)

One of mine went during the week so i replaced it today. But feck me, I changed the water pump during the summer and that was nearly easier than changing the bulb!
