I can't really remember going to see Cloverfield, but I think I thought it was too short and had a poor ending.

Paranormal Activity is supposed to be scary, according to Facebook anyway.

Try watching The Ring when you're ten.

    My mind is blown.
In theory, if you add up all the numbers to infinity you end up with -1 :O
    Dafuq?

What type of a theory is that?

Oh, and you can't add up all the numbers to infinity because we don't know what they are. It never stops?

The neutrino theory is way more interesting, as it has a direct effect on the meaning of our lives... The neutrino being that particle thought to travel faster than light itself. It was all over the news.

    If that theory is correct:

If someone is standing at the point where the neutrino stops moving, and you send them a text message from Earth, they will get that message before you press the send button. Which...is...mind bending.

Of course, there are several complexities involved, so don't bother looking for a used DeLorean in the AutoTrader.

(if you understand that thing about DeLoreans then props to you good sir)

Ah yeah I read about that neutrino thingy :o

If you go by that theory too, you can make an invisibility cape like the one in Harry Potter. Which excites me greatly :pac:

    Back to the future? :o

Another thing: Maths is technically a theory anyway if you think about it, so, while it may seem strange, it has no real practical benefit.

    "1 * x=x"

This is what that dude said, and according to conventional maths theory, that is a fundamental flaw... He made up his own rule so how could it be true?

    That's impossible.

    So was alot of things.
Im sure 100 years ago the concept of having half the things we have now was crazy, and this neutrino theory that scientists are coming up with might proove that theres a 4th dimension.
SUBATOMIC particles have broken the universe's fundamental speed limit, or so it was reported last week. The speed of light is the ultimate limit on travel in the universe, and the basis for Einstein's special theory of relativity, so if the finding stands up to scrutiny, does it spell the end for physics as we know it? The reality is less simplistic and far more interesting.

"People were saying this means Einstein is wrong," says physicist Heinrich Päs of the Technical University of Dortmund in Germany. "But that's not really correct."

Instead, the result could be the first evidence for a reality built out of extra dimensions.

You can kind of take that two way,
1 times something, i.e 1 x -3/4, is still -3/4, but there are some times when this wont be the case, but if you take it too mean that one of something, like one unit of something, then you are still talking about the same amount of that thing.
It makes more sense in my head.. :L

Of course it is in a real life situation, as we can't travel that far into the universe... But its a theory. It's possible... In theory, you see, not in practice.

Using that logic, we can do other amazing things in the future.

Bear in mind the speed of a neutrino still has to be proven, and the theory is at a very "prototype" phase, but you can expect new discoveries to be made regarding this very soon.

If it is true, most discoveries physics will be thrown out the window and re-written, as science has, up until recently, assumed light=fastest known thing, using that as a point of reference.

I know, what I mean is that if the NeuTheory is true, it might mean an infinity of parallell universes.

Because the alternate universes would be in this fourth dimension.

...And so some equally monstrous dictator takes his place, and another rebellion will occur because the public think they can have their own way all the time.

Those rebels were every bit as cold blooded as Gadaffi...Pulling him out of a bloody hole and killing him in cold blood? And the media applauds this? Ha!

I hope a decent leader comes to power, but I'm skeptical of that.

^^^ Not a rant btw xD
